Aiya smiled cheerfully and continued padding along beside Luciana. "Never wake a Meya, that's what mama used to say. They get grumpy, and when they're grumpy, they're hungry."

"They sound…friendly…"

(Naw just right!)

“Super. Yell a little louder and you’ll get to meet a neighborhood.”

"I'd say not." Aiya's blue eyes glowed in the dark. They didn't really glow that much, really, but they were just very bright. She looked at Corin. "Are you okay? You look scared."

"I'm great, thanks for asking." He laughed a little. "I am going to get eaten by fairies, I'm doing great."

"They're not fairies! More like ghosts. So they can't eat people. I think you have to be magical in order for them to be able to eat you… But it doesn't look like that's the only thing worrying you."

“There’s also wolves. And a looooot more.” Luciana said.

"What else would be worrying me…"

“Ah, we’re finally here.” Luciana smiles, but it quickly vanishes, she was reading symbols on the door.

"I dunno." Aiya shrugged, her eyes casting a blue hue on the door as she looked up at it.

“My mistresss isn’t home.”

"You mean." Corin took a deep breath. "I came all the way here IN THE DARK and she's not here?"

"There it is. The other thing you're worried about. You wouldn't put so much emphasis on the dark if it weren't significant."

//I’m just gonn jump in now?

Luciana sighed as she continued reading the symbols, the grumbled, “What did I do to deserve this?” She stood up, “Corin, you’ll be staying overnight in the guest room. My mistress will be back tomorrow afternoon. Aiya, we have another dragon.”

"Really? What's their name? Are they friendly?"

The door was pushed open slightly, and a little black dragon tumbled out. She awkwardly flapped/ran to Luciana, almost like an overexcited puppy.

Aiya's tail wagged in excitement, and she got down into a play position.

Luciana smiled and kneeled down, “Aiya this is Drayce.”

Corin looked at the new dragon, then up at the house. He gulped. "Okay…"

Drayce pounced at Aiya, cooing. After a moment, she rolled to a stop in front of Corin and looked up at him, curious.

“This is Corin, he’s a meanie.”

(Smol dragons=essentially adorable puppers)

"I'm not a meanie…" He mumbled as he crouched down.

She head butted his legs before looking up again, blinking at Corin excitedly.

Aiya grabbed onto Drayce's tail, wagging her own tail in the air.
