Corin watched as she poured the tea. "How…how do you do that?"

“With magic, duh.” Luciana said, “I just learned how to do magic without a wand. It’s harder.”

"Do dragons just automatically have magic?" Aiya said from the counter.

"Wands…right…"

“I believe so… I have a book about dragons in my room.”

"Cool! I wish I could read…"

Drayce popped up, fully prepared to jump off and get the book.

“Go ahead and get the book, Drayce.” Luciana said sweetly, “The brownies and tea are ready. I got the plates.” She said, and plates laid themselves down on the table.

Corin just stared. "This is the strangest thing…"

“What is?” Luciana asked, eating a brownie.

"This experience." Corin said. "Sorry I tend to trail off a lot…"

“It’s fine,” Luciana said, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, “I suppose.”

The black dragon hopped off the counter and scrambled off, coming back in a minute with a big green book in her mouth.

“Perfect.” Luciana said, finish her brownie. She picked up the book with her magic and started flipping through it.

"Are you gonna enchant me?"
