"But it's not dark in here! See?" She flashed her eyes at Corin. "Pow!"

"Ow…" The light shown in his eyes. "Okay…"

"No demon would dare enter this room! Pow! Pow!" She flashed her eyes at random around the room.

Corin sighed. He went over to the bed and sat down. "I don't know if I'll be able to sleep though…"

"Why not? The darkness has fled in terror! No one messes with the Aiya in shining scales!"

"Yeah I know…It's just…" He gestured. "Unfamiliar surroundings and stuff…."

"Hmm… do you have any illusion magic? You could make it look like home. Or just close your eyes and pretend! Pretending's fun!"

"Uh…I don't know…" He laid down. "I think I'll just try and drift off…"

“Enchanted?” Luciana asked, laughing a little, then she shook her head, “Nope, made with my own two hands.”

"Okay…" Corin said. "Should I take the tray or…"

"Cookiessssssss!" Aiya grabbed one from the pan and ate it cheerfully.

Luciana walked over to the a table and put the tray on it, than she pulled out a seat and sat on it, taking a cookie and taking a bite out of it, “These are good cookies.”
