"Y-you passed out after magic-y stuff doing flying us to the roof? I think."

"Oh, right. Didn't I mention I'm telekinetic and pyrokinetic? Sorry. Thought I'd said it." Lucia looked down, and whistled. "I managed to get us that far, huh?" she murmured, proud.
"Uh-huh…" Patagonia resigned, stiff with shock.
(I'm sorry that took me so long. Finally back.)
From above, the girls heard two gunshots ring out, then an upheaval of effort as Alaria began climbing the pipes and bricks of the wall, attempting to escape. When she finally manages to reach the top, there is a gash on her leg, and she through gritted teeth she mutters, "Nice trick. Does it work for bleeding too?"
Alaria smiles weakly and sets to work pulling bandages of a pocket in her armor.
"Well, I guess it could cauterize a wound, but not one as shallow as this." Lucia told Alaria. She turned to Patagonia.
"You OK? You seem a bit pale…"
(sorry I was gone I was asleep)
(Same here)
(me three :P) "Uhh… I'll be alright."
Lucia shrugged. She turned to Alaria.
"I have a couple questions about some things I noticed. First of all, how did you climb up so fast?! Second, WHY DO YOU HAVE A GUN?"
"Why not? We're in the city," Patagonia replied cooly, pulling a small handgun from her bag. "Who knows what kind of dumbarse is gonna try to hook up with you?"
Alaria smiled at Patagonia, "Girl's smart. I have my own reasons though. I command a little army for hire, I guess you could say. So that climbing is all training. The gun is standard issue."
Alaria looked Patagonia up and down. Despite being timid, she knew how to handle herself when she needed to. If things went south, that would be handy.
Then Lucia. The girl was telekinetic, that much was for sure, and she claimed she was pyrokinetic, but what else?
I might not wanna think too much. Not until I'm sure, anyhow.
Alaria finished up her bandages and turned to look over the edge.
"So," She started, "where do we go from here?"
"My mom's at work, so no one's home. We could stop by my place, get cleaned up and look at that disc a little closer? I live just around the block." Lucia offered. She stood up, too quickly, and she almost toppled over. She steadied herself and closed her eyes, slowly regaining strength.
Lucia, weak from exertion of her powers, nearly collapsed trying to get to her feet. Alaria started towards her, holding out her hand to help steady her. Lucia's eyes were closed. So instead, Alaria decided to look out to the city. The sun was beginninng to climb higher into the sky now, shortening the shadows of the taller buildings in the city. All the while she thought about the disc…
Secret Society? In college? No kid in the right mind would join something like that without reason or force…
She turned to Patagonia, "So what was that symbol for? Is it a stauts symbol, or just the actual symbol of the society itself?"
(I just realized I butchered status.)
(Aya. I might forget though. I'll operate off character names.)
"If I remember correctly, it's a status thing. Mine looked like this:"
She traced this figure in the air:
_ / ||| \ _
"So if I'm correct then whoever owns this was rank 5." Patagonia resigned, shuddering in recognition. "They're a badass. I was rank 3 and I was one of the ones who- um, did stuff."
"Stuff?" she questioned, eyebrows raised. Then she remembered. "One of my friends had a bracelet with a symbol on it, and he said it was part of a secret society of some sort."
Alaria cocked an eyebrow, suspicious, "As in errand girl kinda stuff?"
She didn't mention that Patagonia did not look like the kinda kid who would join a secret society. She just seemed pretty caught up in life. Alaria couldn't blame her for that.
But whatever this society was, Alaria was having issues determining whether or not to deem it a threat. She almost hoped it was. She was dying to have a reason to call off leave early. Not to mention she wasn't exactly thrilled by the prospect of secret societies lurking in the shadows. And so Alaria knew that however timid Patagonia was, she had to get as much intel from her as possible.
"I was in charge of running… Tests. Making decisions on who was a threat, and then taking the threats out back and… Releasing them. Can we change the subject now?" Patagonia pleaded, stroking her bushy tail anxiously.
Curious now, Alaria almost spouted off an entire list of questions. She saw Patagonia growing nervous, and decided that she may have over stepped her bounds. She needed to calm down.
Instead, she turned to Lucia, who had recovered well enough to talk, "We might wanna get off this rooftop now. Let me see if that WhipSlash is gone, then we move it to your place."
Alaria climbed down from the top, stopping before she reached the ground. She hooked a foot between the pipe and the wall, and peered, upside down, into the cafe.
Nothing. She signalled to Lucia, Take Point.
Lucia nodded, and both girls climbed down from the roof.
"Follow me!" she announced and took off down the street. Halfway home, she remembered one thing: Coco.
"Oh, I hope neither of you are allergic to dogs." she told Alaria and Pantagonia.
"Um, I technically am a dog," Patagonia replied, almost able to laugh. Almost. Not quite.
Alaria chuckled, "No worries here, either. I train alongside a bunch of wolf and fox hybrids."
(…plot ideas are forming oooh)
Patagonia cast her a sympathetic glance. "I'm so sorry for you. And that's coming from a fox hybrid."
(Hope this gives you options :))
Alaria laughed again, slightly puzzled, "Now, what on Earth makes you say that?"
"I have my reasons and more than enough idiot boys to prove my point. It's why I've given up on boys."
Girls, on the other hand…
Thinking back on it, a lot of her battalion had been pretty green starting off. Alaria smiled inwardly at memories of their screwing around during off-hours, getting into fights and chatting up the pretty native girls while on deployments. She also remembered all the scorn she got for being only half-hybrid. Alaria had worked hard to train it all out of them.
"Yeah," Alaria said, "They can be a bit of a pain sometimes…"
(I believe I understand what Patagonia was saying, but Alaria mis-interpreted.)
(G'night guys. Catch ya soon)
Lucia was listening to their conversation, and it intrigued her. She had never met a hybrid before. She had gone to a "normal" school, and grown up around "normal" people. She had worn contacts her whole life until they'd moved here. She was intrigued though, as to what it was like. She desperately wanted to ask.
But before she could work up the courage, her house came into view.
"We're here!" she called to them. It was a cute house, narrow but charming. The outside was painted pastel green with creamy white lining, and the door was polished oak.
She headed up the steps, brandishing her keys.
(yee mixups and confusion ^-^)
"Oh my God, I love your house!" Patagonia exclaimed, drooling slightly. "I'm a Real Estate Agent."
