Kylie looked up into the (mostly) bright blue sky. In a corner of her vision, she could see a small patch of darkness, with thousands of stars all clustered together, as if they were looking down at her. As they 'saw' her looking - of course, that wasn't possible - they darted out of the darkness and it was covered by bright blue sky once more.
What the actual frick?

(So I'm gonna add a thing that once they learn how to use and control their powers, then they get an 'item' from their source of power i.e, fire gets it from a bonfire, etc, etc. This item can be anything: A tiara (I call dibs on tiara), zipper, anything. It isn't their source of power, it's just a gift that shows who they are.)

Elysia slowly stood off. Her shock slowly going away. She looked around and couldn’t find her family anywhere. She did see the girl she was sitting next to in he plane and walked over to her. “D-Do you know what happened?” (Did everyone on the plane die except for those who have powers?)

(everyone jumped out of the plane. Hawkin made it explode after everyone with powers was out.)

Kylie closed her eyes and took deep breaths. She wasn't sure if she could walk. She looked around to see people across the clearing talking - people she had seen on the plane. She called out to them for help - she wasn't sure if she could walk.

Roxanne heard Kylie and startled. "Kylie you're okay!" She exclaimed happily before running over to her and giving her a hug.

"I don't know if I could say 'okay'…" Kylie mumbles, shifting in her new 'seat'.

"I was just almost strangled by shadows, I'm counting alive as okay." Rox said, inspecting where Kylie was sitting.

"I think it's going to hurt to walk," Kylie admitted, running her fingers along the rocky surface of the asteroid chair.

"Can you get down though?" Rox asked, putting her hand on the chairs side. "This is just a shit ton of strange."

"I don't know. Maybe. I kind of like where I am…but it's…supernatural. It's obviously some sort of asteroid, but how…?" Kylie craned her neck to observe the chair.

(everyone jumped out of the plane. Hawkin made it explode after everyone with powers was out.)

Kylie looked up, startled. "Did you just say…strangled by shadows? What…is everyone else okay?" She looked towards the others, calling out.

"Yup, I somehow went through a shadow and ended up here then, was basically chocked by shadows." Rox muttered, rubbing her arm

“I think we’re okay,” Rigel called back, walking back to his photo bag and shuffling through it. His camera had been in the protective case, but… The photos had been crumpled and basically destroyed. Rigel sighed sadly, then looked back up to the others, “We need to make a shelter or something, I think. If we’re stranded…”

"Then don't touch anyone, then." Kylie responded stubbornly, shaking her head. "Choked by shadows? Trees exploding? Asteroid chairs? With all laws of science and engineering in mind…it's magic." She breathed.

Elysia didn't get an answer from the girl so she decided to look over to the other. she saw the tree blow up and she jumped back. as she did a little spark of electricity shot out of her hand, leaving the ground in front of her chared.

"WHAT THE HECK?" Kylie screeched, lifting herself from the chair. "It's magic!"

Elysia stared at her hand in shock and then looked up at the boy who talked. "who are you?" she asked.

When the tree chips came towards her, Rox threw up her hands. As her hands were thrown up, a wall of shadows blocked her face.

Rigel paled at how casual it seemed to be. How explosions, shadows, and electricity were just happening. “This- This isn’t a good thing.” He clenched and uncleched his fists, then looked at the expanse of the trees. Surely, someone else it out there?
