John’s cheeks flushed red and he looked away. “The weather is great.”

"Yes. Weather. Weather is good." Sherlock said, blushing. Blushing. That was new. Sherlock wasn't even sure he was capable of blushing.

"John, are you okay?"

Glancing over at Sherlock, John smiled. “I’m glad you’re okay.” He whispered almost too quite to hear and shifted his gaze to the ground, staring at his hands.

“Yes, I’m fine.” John said louder as he cleared his throat. “Why wouldn’t I be?” He asked, looking confused but still unsure himself.

"You just seem… not fine."

“I’m just glad you’re okay. That’s all.” He said nonchalantly.

(I am so sorry. I’m at a friend’s house their parents don’t let me have… well, anything. I’ll be on more later tonight. I’ll get on as much as possible cuz ima be here till Sunday.)

John nodded his head, bringing himself back to attention. “Yes, Mycroft called. He apologized for not being able to come see you and asked how you were doing.” He paused. “As for the murder, Lestrade and his team was able to catch the man who stabbed you. They found him guilty for the murder as well.”

"For once Lestrade proved himself competent. And it's a miracle Mycroft didn't make it."

“Miracle? Don’t you want your brother to visit?”

“Since you have been here a few days you should be able to leave in a day or so.” He thought. “And no, Sherlock, that does not mean that you can jump right back into work. You'll Still need to rest.”
