Tara raised her eyebrow and sat down beside Darren. "Suuuurrreee….."

"Don't patronize me," He pouted with a small smirk although he still refused to take his eyes focus away from his feet.

Abby heard voices. They're back. Her heart fluttered nervously, but she decided that she wouldn't tell them. Not yet. At least not Tara. She bounded down the stairs in an attempt to be cheerful. "Tar! Darren!"

Darren popped his red face up to look at Abby, "H-Hey,"

Abby stopped quickly. "Did I…"

River cleans more stuff.

Tara looked over at Abby, the roses resting on her lap.

"No, you're f-fine." Darren tried to control his blush.

Abby eyed the roses. "Sorry… I'll just go… then…" She back backtracked and headed for the otter enclosure.

"Umm," Darren didn't know what to say. He didn't mean to insult Abby or anything.

Tara looked between Darren and Abby. She felt helpless, torn between the two.

Abby turned again and read the loss on their faces. "No! No! You guys are fine! Don't worry about it."

Tara bit her lip. "Okay then." She said dejectedly, surprised that Abby had yelled at them.

River walked into the lobby, "What's going on?"
