Marine Rescue (Closed)

"You did, did you?" Tara answered, biting back a smile.

"Yup, I saw her and I thought, she's perfect."

"And when exactly did you think that?"

"The first time I laid eyes on her,"

Tara lost her battle to not blush. "Wow Darren. Just wow. You win again."

"Yes!" He cheered. "Are we keeping points?"

"I believe so……if we are I am already losing spectacularly." Tara answered .

"Let's say it's 5 to 2,"

"FIVE?!??! TO TWO?!?! Wait how did you even get those numbers?" Tara asked, holding up the hand that wasn't holding Darren's and thinking about Darren's statement, doing the math in her head.

"I don't know. What would you like the score to be?" He was laughing now.

Tara looked over at Darren and raised her eyebrow. "Unbelievable." She said, shaking her head.

(As you will soon realize, 'unbelievable ' is Tara's favorite word…lol)

"Are you going to answer the question or is 5 to 2 the score now?"

"I don't even get how you got those numbers!" Tara exclaimed.

"I don't know or care, I just wondering how you got those numbers!!"

Darren shrugged, “Magic I suppose.”

Tara rolled her eyes. "Fine."

Darren laughed slightly, “Fine?”

Tara shrugged. "Yeah fine."

Darren nodded as they got back to work.

Tara reluctantly let go of Darren's hand. "See you later then?" She asked.

“Yeah see you. I’ll meet you in the lobby if you want,”

Tara nodded. "Okay. Later!" She called before running off.
