Evan smiled at the epithet. ”No problem, darling.”
She blushed and looked away a piece of hair falling in her face
”You’re cute when you blush.” he chuckled.

”And it’s just as true today as it was then.” he smirked.
" except then I had my glowing figure" she said
”What do you mean?” he asked gently, raising a brow. ”Betty, you still look amazing.”
She let out a short laugh shaking her head

Evan leaned against the door, watching the pair interact while the twins slowly started to wake up.

Cole closed his little hand around one of her fingers.

Cole continued to babble, swinging his arm back and forth as he still held onto her finger.
"Cole" she whispered
”Bah?” Cole looked up at her, her finger halfway to his mouth.
"Are you hungry?" She asked
Cole let go of her finger and made grabby hands at her.
She picked him him up again and put him at her shoulder
Cole smiled and held on her.
" we'll get you your Inhaler soon" she said
