"Almost," she giggled. "Do humans have powers?"

“Not really. We’re lame,”

"There's got to be something special you can do," she insisted.

“Nah. We can walk and swim so… that’s it,”

"I always thought humans could fly," she remarked.

“Nah that’s just some birds and stuff,”

"Stuff," she repeated with a giggle.

“Yeah like butterflies and… bugs..? Stuff,”

She giggled again and swam over close to him. "You're funny," she cooed.

He grinned. “Sometimes. I suppose so,”

"You are. Just admit it: you're cute and funny."

“I’m not so sure I’m cute,” he chucked.

"I think you're cute," she whispered, blushing slightly.

“Thanks I think,” he chuckled. “At least someone does,”

“Thinks I’m cute,”

"You're cute," she stated with a wide grin.

“You’re entitled to that opinion,” he shrugged.

She giggled.

"You," she replied, tilting her head to the side and grinning.

“I haven’t a clue what you mean…” he raised an eyebrow.

"Relax. You don't have to talk all smart like you do," she said, swimming over to him and wrapping her arms around his neck from behind.

“I seriously don’t know what you’re talking about,” he chuckled.

"I think you do," she said softly, letting her hand flutter around his face. "Relax, please? You can talk to me like a normal… conversational being!"

“I’m as relaxed as I can be,” to be honest he was a little scared and even more nervous.
