Dante was almost excited by Charlotte's reply. He hadn't planned on asking a vampire to join his party, but he understood the value of unusual bedfellows.
(Please do ignore the fact that I just used the word bedfellow to describe bringing a vampire along on an adventure. Couldn't think of a different word and I just like the word)
"Charlotte Evergreen" She said, taking another sip of her wine
"Apollo." Apollo said.
"Hellstrande. Dante Hellstrande." He offered a hand to both of them. "So…do we have a deal?"

Dante felt that time might be being wasted on these two, wondering if they would come or not. "The others will be at the north gate at sundown to leave. Show up, or not. I cannot force you to come with me…." He left the bar, muttering the words to a spell and sending a single message to those who he had employed for his quest for power and glory. "Meet at the north gate by sundown. Then we will begin this quest for our various reasons….'
