"Nice dog."
My first Rp! pls join! ^_^
Ruby stopped instantly she turned 180 degrees sharply. She had a cold hard stare on her face. “Why are you following me?”
(Oof sh*t's about to go down)
Akira stopped about a yard from the man, examining him from afar.
(XD)
(xDDD)
Dante planted his staff on the ground and looked at her, a cold, calculating look on his face. "I'm looking for adventurers to a join my party, on a quest far away from this little town. I will offer to pay you handsomely if you wish in agreement that you come along…." He pushed aside his long coat to show a money pouch that jingled with the sound of coins.
The sound hurt Akira's ears, and she stepped back a bit. The metallic jingling felt much louder to her than to Dante or Ruby, since her hearing was considerably better.
"Fabulous wealth awaits us on this quest…. Even if you aren't interested, or in need of the money, if word gets out about your success you will be set until the day you can't leave to adventure at a ripe old age." He wasn't sure what she wanted; wealth, fame, risk, love, but he was not going to give her everything he had in order to get her on his side. He still had to find the vampire and her friend to try them next.
“You think I want money?” Ruby snorted.
"If not the money, why not the fame? The chance to prove that you are more than just some girl in a tiny town that no one knows about until they see it? If that still doesn't make your mouth water, think of the power you could obtain on this journey. You could be unstoppable…."
(Before you ask, I usually RP sort of evil-but-not-a-villain types)
(Cool. :).)
(It's actually really fun. In RPGs we call that Lawful Evil)
Ruby glared at the man, it was tempting. It really was.
(yup really cool)
A smirk played across Dante's lips. He could see that she was close to breaking point…she wanted to so badly. He walked past her saying "But if fame and adventure don't interest you, I suppose that I'll take my leave. Everyone gets a chance to stand out, but it seems that you'll let your one chance slip by…." He walked down the street, slower than he usually would, knowing what she was about to say.
Ruby didn’t want to, but she did. The deep craving inside won. “Wait.”
Dante stopped, that evil smirk on his face and he glanced over his shoulder.
“I’ll join.” Ruby said, the deep craving inside of her cackling with victory.
"Good," Dante replied. "Wait by the gate for the rest of us. I have a few more party members to bring with us…."
“Sure. Wait when?”
(Anyone know where Charlotte and Apollo will be)
(At the bar. I think. Idk, somewhere flirting with each other.)
(Winter and Penny are going to get Penny a new crossbow, right?)
(Yup)
Dante walked back into the bar, going a hunch that he had, looking that the backs of a young man and woman. He couldn't hear what they were saying, but saw that it was what people knew as 'flirting', but he didn't have time for that. He strode up to the bar and sat down a couple stools down from the girl. "It's not often that one sees a vampire this close to human society…."
Winter and Penny walk back into the weaponry store. The worker looks at them a little confused. "Back so soon?" He asks. Winter laughs awkwardly, "Yeah, we forgot to get something. We're just looking for a new crossbow and maybe some side weapons." She responded.
Penny starts to wonder down the rows of weapons. looking around, she see swords, bows, knives, and many other strange devices, but no cross bows. She then makes her way to the very back of the store and sees a crossbow hiding in a pile of bows. She pulls it out and examines it. It as made of beautiful birch wood and had what seemed to be a golden trim. Even the string was golden. She new right away she wanted it.
As Winter waited for Penny to pick out her crossbow, she looked around for some secondary weapons she could bring in case her bow were ever to break again. She pondered on whether she should take some kunai or a dagger but ended up buying 12 kunai because you could use it for both long-distance fighting, and short distance.
Penny ran back to Winter and the worker, cross bow in hand. "Winter, look what I found." she said. Winter examined it. "It's very beautiful, but how much does it cost?" she asks.
The worker asks if he can take a look at it. Penny hands the cross bow over to him and watches as he stares at it with a confused expression on his face. "Where did you find this?" he asks.
Penny pointed to where she had found it. "Over there, it was in the back of the store mixed in with some bows."
He paused before answering, "I don't think we sell this type of cross bow here. Was it the only one?"
"Yes," Penny answers.
The worker sighed, "Well since it's not the store's, you can just have it for free."
Penny was ecstatic. "Thank you so much!" she grabbed the cross bow, thanked him again, and left the store with Winter.
Winter and Penny make a quick stop to their temporary house to pack some things they'll need for the trip. When they were done, they started to make their way to the gate where he had said for everyone to meet up.
