Aaron takes a shaky breath. For Cooper. He gives a territorial cry, running forward, hissing.

The cry sent chills down Cooper's spine, and his tail fluffed up again as his hair stood on end. He turned his ears back and faced away from the clearing.

She calms the young kit down, running a calming and motherly hand through his hair. "It's ok Cooper…"

Gracie fainted also dodging the attack. The poison had done it's part.

Cooper leaned against Jess, tears rolling silently down his cheek. His heart pounded in his throat, and he could hear it clearly.

Annoyed, Fannar wanted to attack but was too lazy so he left the small fight.

Aaron pulls away, hissing. His breathing was heavy. He hadn't noticed… with the adrenaline rushing through his veins, but he was bleeding from his side. A bullet hole. He growls, before staring at the limp body of the female. "It's safe." He calls, wincing in pain as he holds his side.

Cooper leaned against Jess, tears rolling silently down his cheek. His heart pounded in his throat, and he could hear it clearly.

She keeps the kit next to her, knowing what would happen if he saw his 'father'. She hums a lullabye, trying to keep the boy calm. She hears Aaron, then let's the kit go. "Come on Cooper…I told you he would win little one…"

"Aaron? A-Are you okay?" Cooper's voice cracked, but it was still audible.

"Yes." Aaron answers, walking slowly towards the tree, "Come here my little one." He calls softly.

She jumps down, then helps the kit down. She smiles at Aaron, then notices the wound. "Let me patch that up for you…"

"You're hurt…" Cooper eyed the wound anxiously before glancing over at the girl on the ground. "S-She's not… is she?"

Aaron shakes his head, "I'm fine. I already said that I'm fine." He gently takes Cooper in his arms nuzzling and kissing the top of his head softly, "I'm alright my little one. And she'll be alright."

Jess looks over the girl. "She's not hurt…she's just…passed out…

Dena walked up to the limp body, “She’s really pale,” she said ,”are we sure she’s ok?” Dena asked standing over the lady

Cooper clung to Aaron, trying to brush the tears from his eyes and turning away from the girl.

Aaron gently hugs him, "Shh… It's alright." He whispers. nuzzling his kit, wiping away his tears. "Easy now." He looks up. "The poison will wear off soon." He answers, nodding towards the other. He returns his gaze to his kit, "Were you hurt at all?" he asks Cooper, extremely concerned.

Jess nods to Aaron. "Stay safe…I'll get out of your territory now…"

"No… I-I'm fine…" Cooper looked over at Jess. "Are you leaving?"

"I owe you for taking care of my kit." Aaron says after a moment, hesitating. "At least join us for food." He looks towards the female.

Gracie jumps up gun out. She saw the little 'family ' she put the gun back. She stepped toward the little reunion. She tapped Aaron on the shoulder.

Jess smiles at the kit, before than looking to Aaron. "Of course…" She looks around, a small smile painting her face. "I don't think my 'clan' is looking for me anyways…so, of course, I will join you. Thank you for the offer…"

Aaron jumps and tenses, staring at the female that had just tried to kill him, pushing Cooper behind him.

Jess takes Cooper in her arms, kneeling, then picking the young kit up.

"I'm sorry….." She says, "And I'm not from the wind clan…."

“Welp!” Said Dena ,”Ima get going.” She started to walk off not feeling it was her place to be here ,”Cya.” She said walking back to her hut

Cooper hesitated before jumping out of Jess's arms and grabbing her hand, pulling her towards the den.
