Aaron was silent, "Let me guess. You got kicked out of your clan?" He asks, softening a little.
"Maybe…"
He sighs, "Alright, fine. You're welcome to come in, eat and rest. But understand one thing, you lay a hand on my kit and you're as good as dead." He says, offering her a hand.
"I actually thought you were trying to kill the kit…. I'm sorry. "
"Why would I kill the kit that I've been raising for the past few years?" He asks, leading her into the hut. "Cooper, it's alright now." He calls gently.
"Hey I didn't know!"
He chuckles softly, finding Jess and Cooper together. He smiles a little bit at his kit before nodding towards Jess. "Thank you." He kneels in front of his kit, "Come here, little one." He pulls his kitten into his arms, hugging Cooper gently.
The kitten purred quietly, closing his eyes. His cat form was fairly simple; brown with a few white markings, and it was very small.
Gracie just stared into the 'den' looking at the 'family' from quite afar.
Gently, he carries his little kitten, nuzzling him as he carries him, humming softly, "You willing to change back, Gattino?" He asks, humming a little.
Cooper meowed something that sounded vaguely like agreement, and transformed. He closed his eyes, since he was always a bit dizzy after a transformation; particularly if he was dehydrated. Unfortunately, he was a bit malnourished from living in the woods so long. Food and water were harder to come by, but he never complained.
He hums, smiling a bit, grabbing some water and food as he gently ruffles Cooper's hair, humming softly as he nuzzles Cooper gently. He was willing to give up a little of his food to feed his kit.
Gracie sighs starting to leave.
Cooper began purring again, growing drowsy. Even in his human form, he had a tendency to make catlike noises such as meowing, purring, hissing, and squeaking. He rarely hissed at anyone or anything, however.
"Wait. I welcomed you here, besides, there's food and water." He says softly. "I hate being in debt." He places a hand on his hip.
Cooper lay his head on Aaron's shoulder, yawning and closing his eyes. The tip of his tail flicked absently.
Aaron smiles a tiny bit, hugging his kit close and running a gentle hand through his hair between his ears.
"I don't belong here. I don't fit in." Gracie said looking to the ground .
"If you're an outcast, you are welcome here." He says, nodding towards the female. He holds his kit close, looking at the two females before him. "What are your names?"
"No one fits in here… it's a way of life. The standard of 'normal' is unknown, so therefore everyone is extraordinary."
"There's a difference between welcomed and being normal." he says, shaking his head at the female.
"We don't fit in either." Cooper looked up. "My mother's gone and I don't know where my father is; I've never been in a clan."
(Idk what to do)
