Aaron grabs her arm, "No… don't let… him see me… like this…" he whispers.

Jess looks surprised for a second, but nods, setting his arm down carefully. "Let's at least get you out of the open…"

Cooper cautiously made his way down the tree, staying in cat form. He crouched down and crawled to the clearing.

Jees hears the kit, not turning around. "Cooper…stay there…."

Gracie hit someone it the stomach them falling to the ground. Her friends had their humans down to. They each out their guns to their heads right before each trigger was pulled the humans hit their own triggers hitting Gracie. She hit the trigger killing one. After awhile each of her friends did the same.

Jess turns back to her nephew. "Did you hear our conversation…?"

(Aaron is just lying there… bleeding out)

Aaron's eyes were shut, his breathing light, barely even heard.

Jess looks at him, taking her overshirt off, now only wearing the tank top underneath. She rips it into five different thick pieces, using each one to cover a wound. "Let's get you to the den."

Aaron was passed out from bloodloss and the overwhelming pain.

Jess looks at him, but lifts him up, stumbling slightly, walking/dragging him to the den. She sets him on the bed. She calls out to her kit. "Cooper…can you get me some water from the river please?"

Aaron groans softly, hissing in pain.

Jess rushes over to him, she knew how to heal the bullet wounds….after all she did her own… Please…if Cooper loses him… "It's going to be ok Aaron…"

Jess looks out the 'window', praying for Cooper to be quick.

Cooper ran to fetch the water, nursing the desire to just run. However, he had to fight against his own will to actually come back with the water.

Jess smiles at him, getting the water from him, kissing his forhead gently. "Stay in here, but give us some room ok?"

Aaron groans softly, hissing slightly as pain wracks through his body.

Jess turns back to Aaron. "Don't move…this is going to sting." She takes the makeshift bandges off, cleaning the wounds, making sure there weren't any fragments in the wounds.

Aaron screams out, hissing again, wanting to jerk away but he forced himself to keep still.

Jess flinches, but keeps going. "It's ok…I finished cleaning them…I just need to bandage them…then I'm done…"

Cooper cowered under the bed in the corner. He was still in cat form, and his eyes were the only thing visible in the darkness.

Jess looks at her nephew. "Cooper…it's ok…you can come out…nothings gonna get you little one…"

Cooper didn't respond, just curling up tighter. He didn't want to see Aaron like that. It's all my fault that he's hurt… I shouldn't have run…

Aaron groans, hissing in pain.

Jess turns back to Aaron, covering the wounds. She stands, looking down at him. "There…you need to rest…I'll watch Cooper…I'll come back to re-bandage them…but other than that…you need to rest…ok?" Jess goes over to the other bed, gently lifting up Cooper, though he is in his cat form. "Come on little one…"

No… I don't wanna see what I did! Cooper dug his claws into the ground, trying and failing to resist being lifted. After all, he weighed next to nothing. He wriggled in Jess's arms, trying to run off again.

"Cooper…no." Her voice was firm. Then becomes gentle. "Would…you like to know about your mother…?"

Cooper froze for a few moments before slowly turning towards Jess, tears in his eyes.
