Dena walked through the woods aimlessly and ran into the nekoes den again and turned into her fox form and started to sneak into the den and stepped on a twig ,’Not again!’ she thought cringing

Cooper darted under the bed again at the sound of a twig snapping. Is another one of the humans coming?!

Gracie hissed in pain.

’Oh no I didn’t mean to scare the boy!’ she thought as she kept moving further into the den making sure she wouldn’t make anymore noise

Dena walked up to the boy under the bed Pst…. pst… pst! she tried to get the boys attention ,”You, the little boy.” She whispered

Cooper pressed himself into the corner again, hissing quietly. He always hated hissing, but someone was out there. Someone whose identity he hadn't quite discovered yet. For all he knew, they could have a gun too.

“Hey! You listenin’ to me?” Dena whispered to the boy “Look at me I won’t hurt you.” She tried to sound reassuring

His blue eyes were the only thing visible in the shadows, and they seemed to turn towards Dena. He ceased his hissing, but still didn't leave the corner.

Aaron lets out a low groan, his eyes slowly fluttering open.

Jess bandages Gracie's wound, then walks over to Aaron. "Shh…it's ok…"

Gracie was still on the bed barely conscious.

"Gracie…you need to rest…" She kisses Cooper's forehead gently, then changes Aaron's bandages as gently as she could.

Gracie looked at Jess scared eyes, "No…" She whispered .

"Wha…?" Her wide eyes looked worried.

"Nekos, guns, clans, earth…" She said staring at Jess.

Jess looks confused…

"They were nekos….. from my clan… they found me"

Jess nods slightly. "What clan are you from?"

"E-E-Earth clan… F-F-Found m-m-m-me….. Dead. Help," Gracie chattered.

Jess kneels next to her. "It's ok Gracie…I'll keep you safe…."

Jess pulls Cooper over to her, hugging him tightly, then looks down at him. " You ok little one?"

Cooper nodded, but tried to reverse himself back under the bed. This ruffled his fur the wrong way, but he really didn't want to be out in the open.

"No…come here…I won't let anything hurt you I promise." She smiles slightly

He hesitated, but eventually stopped struggling. He crouched on the floor, his fur fluffed up in random directions.
