"No, I'm not. It's just a hobby. I'm not good enough to pursue music full time."

“You’re good enough. Music industries everywhere would be crawling all over you.”

"No they wouldn't. You're just saying that to make me feel better."

“I don’t say things to help people feel better. I’m a Demon.” He blinked at Liam. “I mean it.”

Liam sighed and turned back to Zackary, "You really mean it?"

Zackary smiled. “Yes, I do.”

Liam returned the smile, "Thank-you."

“You’re very welcome! Actually, don’t thank me, you deserve it.”

Liam laughed, "Thanks, it means a lot." He hummed a tune as he reached for his notebook and scribbled down a few notes on the song he was working on before.

Zackary grinned, squeezing Liam close. “Don’t mention it. I wanna hear more, though.”

"You will soon enough." Liam replied, grinning back and relaxing into Zackary.

Zackary smiled happily and started stroking Liam’s hair. “Good, I’m excited already.”

"There's one I'm working on that'll be ready in a day or two so you won't have to wait to long…" Liam mumbled, smiling a little.

Zackary smiled, excited already. “I can’t wait!”

"Well, you're gonna have too." Liam replied, giggling slightly.

Zackary laid back with an angry groan. “I don’t wannnnaaaaa!”

"Stop being such a child, you can wait a day or two." Liam laughed.

“No, I can’t. I’ll die before then, I’m just going to die.”

"Hey noooo…. don't die on me." Liam pouted and rolled over so he was fully facing the other.

“Iiiii’m gonna die on you, sorry.” Zackary suddenly went limp on the couch.

Liam shook the other, "Nooooooo!!!"

Zackary tilted his head and his tongue lolled out of his mouth.

"Fine, then you don't get to hear any of my music…" Liam said, crossing his arms.

Zackary opened an eye. “Could you at least play some as my funeral?”

"You're not dead so no." Liam stuck his tongue out at the other.

Zackary fell limp again. He’s dead once more, the disappointment killed him for realsies this time.

"Fiiiiiiine…" Liam gave in and grabbed his guitar and played one of the finished songs.

Zackary perked up immediately, happily watching Liam grab his guitar and start playing. He leaned his head into the couch as he listened, smiling.

Liam hummed along to the tune of the guitar, not looking at Zackary and focusing on the instrument in hand. Once he finished, he sighed and shook his head, "Happy now?"

Zackary gave a soft round of applause. “Yes. That was great!”
