"Alison!" He felt relieved instantly! "Where where you?! I was so worried!"
One on one? (Closed!)
"I was only gone for a few seconds. Why did you run off like that?" she asked in a mildly annoyed tone.
"Why did I? You were the one that ran off!" Will says, shaking his head.
"I hardly ran off, you could still see me from where you were." Alison snapped.
"No I couldn't! It was you that disappeared on me!" He shakes his head.
"I was literally gone for five seconds, don't blame me!"
"You were gone for hours!" He says, his eyes wide with terror. "I thought I was gonna be there forever!"
"No, I wasn't, unless time runs faster here than anywhere else, which I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to happen." Alison said.
"What do you mean?" Will asks curiously.
"I've seen weirder, and it's a pretty logical theory either way." she mumbled, mostly talking to herself.
Will sighs, "English for dummies, if you will?" He asks, rubbing his head. "You sound like Annabeth."
"Who's Annabeth? Never mind I guess? Okay, so think of it like this. Time has a normal pace, but as time travel is possible you can experience it at different paces. I could go to the dinosaur era, then hop back to the 51st century, then go back to my original time and place, the year 2003 inside Lannet, Lancashire, within only a few minutes, yeah? Anyways, you know how you can fast forward films and all that? Well, it's like that, but with time. In this specific area, time is being sped up. Everywhere else experiences normal time, but for us here time is even faster. We probably haven't been gone more than a few seconds." Alison explained.
"Head of rebuilding Olympus and the Athena cabin." he says, humming. He listens to her explanation and nods, "Alright… so… what do we do now?" he asks curiously.
"I suppose we should leave, it might be bad if we stay here…. any…. damn." she said. Where there was once a visible exit, there lay a dead end.
Will blinks. "I think it's playing tricks on us, trying to confuse us." He says, glancing around.
"Well, the Doctor did say the ship was alive."
"Yeah… Maybe if we walk around we can find an exit?" He asks, looking towards Alison.
"It's too risky…. let's wait here for a bit."
"I suppose…" he says, looking around nervously. Something about this made him on edge. It reminded him way to much about Kronos.
Two hours later….
"I think we should risk looking around to find a way out." Alison concluded.
Will nods. "Good idea."
Alison walked down the hallway, looking for familiar doors or anything that could lead them back to the control room.
Will does the same, walking beside her since he didn't want to get separated from her again.
Alison found a door that she thought looked familiar and opened it. She stepped through it, or almost did as through it was nothing but a deep, dark pit, probably stretching down for miles. "Ahh!" she yelped as she nearly fell. As soon as she regained her balance, which was rather quickly, she stepped away and slammed the door shut. "Why in heaven and hell's name would there be a deathtrap in the TARDIS? That's just insane!"
Will looks at her with wide eyes, "I dunno, but this is starting to freak me out." he mutters, his eyes darting around.
"I think she doesn't like me. Or you. Either one of us. Or both." Alison said.
"Probably both." He says, looking around with wide, nervous eyes.
"Wait, blue doors…. sign….. I think I've found the way out." Alison said, pointing at another door.
"Thank the gods. Let's go." Will says, looking towards Alison.
Alison stepped through the door… and saw her and Will exiting the control room, just as the Doctor turned around to see who had entered. "Ah, didn't you just leave? Or did the Master mess with the TARDIS settings again…. of course he did. Well, good to see you here either way, I have to repair the engines and I'm in need of an extra pair of hands." he said in a cheerful tone, or at least an attempt at one.
