(Oh yay! So they're at theater practice, yes?)

"Exactly! I always thought that was weird. Like, can they see when a person's chest moves that they're breathing and therefore still alive?" He chuckled.

"'Oh no! My true love died! Better kill myself!' Repeat when the other one wakes up. Like, was there no better choice? Nope, suicide is the only option."

Paige hung near the back. She had no idea why she was here, with her social anxiety and all.

"Only option! No getting over it or moving on, just killing yourself."

(Idk… Leon and Delilah are gonna be a thing right?)

"And they think they're each other's true love? Like, how many years older than Juliet is Romeo?"

"Well that depends on how old Romeo is. There's no definite answer! We could argue this all day! I say he's maybe 19 or 20, making him 6 or 7 years older than Juliet."

Michelle ended up yelling, "OKAY SOME OTHER FUCKERS GET UP THERE BECUASE I AM SICK OF THIS GUYS SHIT!"

Michael shouted back, "WELL GOOD THING I FEEL THE SAME! DELEON!"

"BRIAR!"

(They get lazy and just combine the names on the sheets.)

Paige inched closer, stepping right under a bright light. She froze.

Michelle pointed to Paige then to the other kids, "SOME ONE GET UP THERE WITH HER!"

"So, plausible, but still rather ridiculous considering how young Juliet is."

"In the story, it says she's 13 but in the original that it's based on she's 16 so take your pick."

Paige stepped back into the shadows quickly, startled.

A boy rushed up and pulled her out of the shadows, "I'll be her Romeo."

"Fine go!"

Caire shrugged. "I dunno. Wonder what version this one's based off of?"

"Probably neither since it's a demon and an angel."

"True… well, we should watch these two audition. Want to sit with me?" Caire sat down in one of the auditorium seats.

A boy rushed up and pulled her out of the shadows, "I'll be her Romeo."

"Fine go!"

Paige shied into a corner.

"Uh, sure." He sat next to her. "Man, I wish I had some popcorn so I could watch these people be terrible with some comfort."

He sighed, "Come on. Please?"

Caire laughed softly. "I'm sure they'll do fine. I've never seen either of them on stage before, though."
