"They're always arguing." Caire sighed, looking at the two students on stage. "Why can't they just give it a rest?"

"I don't know," Leon shook his head, "I bet Michelle is pissed that Michael actually got the go ahead."

"They're like an old married couple. What do you think they'd do if I told them that?" Caire smirked.

Leon mirrored her smirk, "Oh they would hate that… Let's do it."

Brendon leaned against the stage, picking at his fingernails, bored as all hell.

Delilah noticed Brendon, he looked as bored as she was. She stood next to him.

"Oh… I don't think I could do it." Caire said slightly breathlessly. "Will you? I don't want them to hate me."

He noticed a shadow next to him and looked over to see Delilah. "Oh. Hey."

Leon shrugged, "Okay."

He shouted to the pair on stage, "STOP ARGUING LIKE AN OLD MARRIED COUPLE YOU TWO!"

Michelle through her clipboard at him and shouted, "SHUT YOUR MOUTH LEON!"

Caire laughed softly, watching the scene take place. Luckily, Leon managed to dodge Michelle's clipboard. She had always had terrible aim anyways.

He noticed a shadow next to him and looked over to see Delilah. "Oh. Hey."

“Uh, Hey,” she smiled kindly.

Leon was laughing as he called back, "MAKE ME!"

Michael clapped his hands to get everyone's attention, "That's done. Let's get to auditions everyone!"

"So, I'm assuming you're Delilah? I'm Brendon." He flashed a quick smile.

Caire stood at attention, ready to go on stage if she was called up.

“Good to meet you,” she flashed a quick smile in return. “How long have you been in theater?”

"I can't even remember. Forever, I guess." He shrugged. "What about you?"

"Oh, umm, I've been in theater since I've been 10 but not at school,"

"Really? What else have you done? I've been in theater both in and out of school. I am a certified Broadway baby."

"Cool!" She enthused, "I do sports at school. Cheerleading and Soccer,"

Michael spotted Delilah and noticed her name wasn't on the sheet, "Hey Delilah! Are you finally doing the play this year?"

"Yeah," It just happened. She wasn't paying attention and just said the first thing that popped into her head… Too late now…

Michael smiled at her, "Great! Then we'll start with you for auditions."

He chuckled. "Looks like your stuck with it now." He pulled a sketchpad and a pencil out of his bag and flipped to the most recent drawing he was working on.

Delilah looked horrified, "Okay,"

Michael and Michelle hopped off the stage. Michael looked at the sheet, "Leon get up there you get to be her Romeo. We're using the balcony scene for auditions."

Leon shrugged and started walking up there, "Do we get scripts?"

"On the stage up there. One for Romeo, one for Juliet."
