Paige whispered his name into his mouth. Her fingers looked through his hair.

Jack didn’t hold back as a small contented noise slipped past his lips and into hers.

Paige doodled in his hair some more. She grinned and pushed herself up on her tippytoes.

Jack felt a chill run down his spine. His hand crept up and held the very base of her head his fingers in her hair.

"Mmm…" Paige moaned softly. It accidentally slipped out.

Jack chuckled into the kiss. He didn’t know how far she was comfortable with.

Paige wove her fingers deeper into his hair. That'll show him!

Jack let out a low moan oh that’s how this is going to go. He started to stray from kissing just her lips.

Paige gasped but didn't shy away. She was curious.

Jack smiled as he placed gentle kisses along her jawline.

Paige blushed and sighed. Take that, Mom! I can do what I want!

Jack grinned as he kissed her lips one last time before smiling at her, “Happy now?”

She kissed him lightly back. "Very."

Jack laughed, “That’s good because I’m ninety nine percent sure class is over.”

Paige let the blush come. She glanced challengingly at her mother, but faltered. Getting a smug look of approval was not what she expected. She didn't reply immediately to Jack.

Jack turned her head so she was looking at him, “Forget about her for now. Okay Paige?”

Jack turned her head so she was looking at him, “Forget about her for now. Okay Paige?”

"Okay." Paige tried to smile.

Jack gave her a kind smile. He knew she was trying.

"It's just… Her expression. It… She caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting that," Paige admitted honestly. She enjoyed the feel of Jack's arms still wrapped around her.

Jack chuckled, “What? Were you expecting her to be stern and not maybe a little happy?”

"I… I don't know what I was expecting," Paige thought out loud.

Jack smiled, “Well was it pleasantly surprising?”

"I guess," Paige said softly, nuzzling his neck with her nose.

Jack smiled and kissed her forehead.

Paige sighed into the side of his neck.

Jack let out a soft sigh before she asked, "What class do you have next?"
