Leo looked to her hands raised, "Oh no your fine. Um, I'm sorry for tickling you."

(Leo?)

(Frick wrong one.)

(Lol, you're good!)

Paige withdrew her hands and wiped at her face.

Jack looked to the floor rubbing his neck.

(Does anyone know what Braire's doing/where tf they are?)

"I have to go," Paige whispered. She didn't move.

(I'm the auditorium what everyone is staring at Paige and Jack.)

Jack looked to her, "Um can I come with or?"

(All in favor of Leon and Caire being leads? Is that a good combo?)

"Well this is just too cute to process." Brendon mumbled, a dorky smile on his face.

(Sure)

Jack looked to her, "Um can I come with or?"

"Yeah," she replied and hurried out into the hallway.

Caire nodded, smiling softly. "I'm glad Paige finally found someone that makes her happy. She's just so jumpy all the time. He'll be good for her."

Jack followed after quickly.

(I'm still kinda pushing for Briare to be the leads but I'll survive with just one if I have to.)
"Yeah. He will." He placed his hand on the armrest, covering hers. He was too engaged in the adorableness to even notice.

A faint pink tint rose to Caire's cheeks when Brendan touched her hand, but she didn't comment. She watched Paige and Jack quietly.

(I'm thinking it's the best and most plausible pairing. Both kids are known in the theater group, rather than the outsiders of Brendon and Delilah. Also no major complaints right? The rest of you can pick your role.)

Paige made it only a few steps out into the hallway when she gasped and leaned heavily on the wall for support. She was shaking like a leaf and crying silently, a skill that she'd mastered over the years.

Jack rubbed her back as he stood next to her. He stood there silently for support.

She pivoted and hugged him tightly, sobbing into his shoulder. Her cries were still muffled.

Jack paused for a second before holding her close to him.

"Do you think she'll be okay?" His fingers laced with hers. It was a reaction, he still hadn't noticed.

"I-I'm sorry…" Paige spoke, her voice jumbled.

Caire held onto Brendan's hand, looking over at Paige before nodding slightly. "This is unfortunately quite a frequent occurrence. She'll be alright."

Jack held her even closer, "Why are you sorry? You've done nothing wrong."

He was pulled out of his thoughts and finally noticed their hands. He blushed a light pink. "O-Oh. Sorry." He gently released her hand but keeping his there in case she was okay with it and wanted to grab it again.

"Don't worry about it." Caire smiled softly, holding onto his hand again. "So… about the play. Who do you think will get the leads?"

"Well, you, definitely. They'd be stupid to not give it to you. And probably Leon. He seems like the most experienced without being an outsider like me."

Jack held her even closer, "Why are you sorry? You've done nothing wrong."

Paige closed her eyes, but opened them quickly, only seeing her mother's delighted expression behind her eyelids.

"Well, you were really good. You might get it anyways. Who knows? We won't be able to tell until the cast list gets posted."

Jack kept holding her, "Something wrong Paige?"
