He let out a soft sigh. "Come on. Announcement about me taking over as Alpha will happen first, then the announcement that you're my mate." he told her, taking her hand and leading her towards the front.
He sighed. "You have to be." he replied gently. "I promise it'll be fine."
He went up and joined his father.
"As you Know Emerson One day will take my place as alpha and that's today" he said Lilli and the pack clapped.
Emerson gave a small, polite smile. "Yes sir." He replied, tipping his head from side to side for a second.
"Is there anything you'd like to say son" he asked.
"Ah, just that I have found my mate and we would like to make it official. If that's alright." Emerson replied.
"Alright. Lilli, would you please come up here?" He asked, extending a hand to Lilli.
Emerson kissed her cheek. "Now, everyone. I know most of you know her, but Lilli is my mate. She has chosen to accept me as such. Which means she is as much your Alpha as I am, so listen to her, and respect her. If you do not, you will have my fangs to answer to."
Emerson held her close, eyes landing on Trevor and narrowing slightly. That one will be trouble.
Lilli Sighed "Son You are the new alpha, Lilli you take care of him" he said
"Yes sir" Lilli said.
Emerson flashed his teeth in a smile. "I'll do it well, dad." He said.
Emerson smiled at Lilli, kissing her cheek.
She smiled, Lilli could hear whispering "Sabers" she whispered.
He stiffened. "What do you mean?" He asked, looking down at her, then out at the crowd, body stiff.
A saber appeared behind her and pulled her against his chest.
Emerson whirled, green eyes flashing as his canines grew and he began to shift into a wolf. "Let go." He snarled at the Saber.
"Nah I'm goon he said tracing a finger down her cheek.
Emerson finished morphing into a large wolf, hackles up as he snarled. "I said let her go, before I tear you limb from limb!"
Lilli elbowed him in the chest and made him hunch over and she ran to emerons chest.
Emerson looked over at her. "Get back to you house and barricade the door." he ordered, still in wolf form. "Don't let anyone but me in."
" Be careful Please" she said and kissed himbefore walking off.
He nodded sharply, and leapt at the Saber who had grabbed her, pinning the figure to the ground and snarling.
