"W-we're gonna die here… s-so far from civilization… limited resources… s-some of us being injured… oh god!" He started hyperventilating, his eyes stinging with tears.

"Ssh, hey, calm down. We'll be okay," Skye tried to comfort him, reaching out a hand to pat his knee. "We're gonna be fine. We'll get rescued soon, just you wait and see."
Robin flinched a bit when he was touched, startled. "H-how do you know…? What if… w-what if we get stuck here forever?" His chest felt like it was tightening, restricting his breathing even more and making him lightheaded. Skye's voice sounded foggy, far away.

"C'mon, Robin, don't do this right now," Skye muttered under her breath. She stood up and grabbed a water bottle, then walked back to Robin and splashed some of the water on his face.
Robin cried out in fear, falling back against the wall. Though the water scared him, it grounded him somewhat, bringing him to his senses. "Calm down… calm down…" He muttered to himself. "But it's not that easy." He seemed to be channeling conflicting voices in his mind. "I know, but I have to… I can't, I can't do it… Breathe… I can't breathe… Try harder…" Talking to himself sometimes helped him to calm down, making him think through every action.

How can I help him? I don't know what to do, Skye thought as she watched Robin talk to himself. I feel so… not helpless, but… unhelpful.
Tears fell from Robin's eyes as he desperately tried to calm himself, rapidly voicing his thoughts. It took a long time for him to control his breathing, and even longer for his heart rate to slow down.
Dara and Celestia returned to the cave together. Dara noticed Robin's tears and hurried over. "What's going on? Are you okay? Is it your wound?" She gave him a once-over to check him for injury, but he seemed fine.

Mihaka followed and latched onto Dara like a leech, not wanting her to go.
Dara jumped in surprise as Mihaka grabbed her arm, frantically saying something in her language. "Mihaka?" She pulled away, glaring at her in obvious distrust. She looked to Celestia and Skye for help.

Skye stared wide-eyed at the native. When Dara gave her a somewhat-frantic look, she shrugged.

Celestia froze when she saw Robin crying, but immediately rushed off to him when she noticed Dara being a little occupied.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, grabbing his shoulders. She noticed him being wet, but she didn't mind as she pulled him into a hug. "Calm down, Robin. It's okay." she rubbed his back in circles.
Dara's attention snapped back to Robin and Celestia, "No no no, ask if you can hug him first. I think he's having a panic attack. Sometimes people don't want to be confined if that's the case."

Robin had begun the process of calming down, but Mihaka suddenly grabbing him made him panic more. No no no no no! No air….no air… unfamiliar people, breathe, breathe! Can't breathe… no air. He couldn't even hyperventilate anymore. Too many stimuli, calm down, calm down, calm down! Don't pass out! Going to faint… no air… it hurts…

Dara froze. She didn't know what to do –she was awful in stressful situations. "Okay, okay, she doesn't understand she doesn't speak English but she has to put him down what do I do," she muttered rapid fire, slowly approaching the girl. She held out her arms, hoping that Mihaka would take the hint and give Robin to her.

The utter panic in Robin's eyes broke Dara. She'd seen that look in her own eyes when she was his age, hiding in the bathroom, trying to calm herself, just in case her parents were listening… She strode forward aggressively, yelling, "Please just let him go! You idiot he doesn't understand you he's just a kid and you're not helping!!"
