"It's dark in here," Skye commented obviously. The crash had rattled her, and she was trying to keep calm by simply talking about random things.
Plane Crash RP - New and Improved Version!
Robin sat on the sand, breathing heavily. Everything about this seemed surreal. This can't be happening… I'm dreaming… I have to be… But the pain he experienced everywhere on his body proved otherwise.
Celestia mustered up a smile.
“And cold,” she added. “What if we build a fire and get ourselves warmed up? Once we’re well rested, we can go find the other survivors.”
"That sounds like a good plan. I'll find some wood or something," Skye offered.
"I'll help," Celestia said, getting up. "It would be easier for the two of us to collect wood."
Mihaka edged away even farther, fingering a dagger.
"H-hello? Fin? Dara?" He wasn't sure whether they could hear him, but he knew that moving wasn't really an option.
Fin heard Robin behind him and redirected his attention from the stranger. Robin looked horrible. Sweat trickled down his forehead, and blood oozed from his leg. Fin rushed to the young boi. “Oh my god, we’ve got to get you somewhere safe,” Fin spoke concernedly. To his right, Fin spotted a cave. Scooping up Robin in his arms, Fin left Dara with the girl and limped to the cave.
"Oh, God, she has –she has a knife," Dara stammered, nearly falling as she scrambled away from her. She heard Robin calling and turned. "Don't! She's dangerous!"
"!!!???" Mihaka was asking, "Are you gods?"
"I don't understand you," Dara said helplessly, raising her hands in a surrendering motion. "Please don't hurt me."
Robin allowed himself to be carried, glancing at the cave with some apprehension. It seemed dark, and fire would really be the only way to light it. And fire was not good for him. He pushed the thought out of his mind for now.
"!!!!!" Mihaka thought Dara was going to summon a demon to eat her. She couldn't move, there was a large piece of metal in her leg. Also, her ribs were broken. She flumped down, unable to fight.
Once Fin had reached the cave, he set Robin down. It took him a moment to realize that there were two girls in the cave with them. He was startled at first, but he hoped that they were survivors and not strange natives. Fin approached them with caution. “Hello? We’re you in the plane crash?” He asked.
(Poor Carson is still in the plane, I think)
Gently, as gently as she could, Dara approached the girl. "It's okay," she said softly. Even though she knew the girl couldn't understand her, she hoped that her voice would be calming enough. Taking out the first aid kit, she pointed at the wound and then reached for it.
Robin leaned against the wall of the cave, massaging his leg. It only seemed to make it worse, and the throbbing continued in his head and leg.
"!!!!!!!!!!!" Mihaka was sure she would die now. Any minute a demon would be summoned.
Dara facepalmed. She had no clue what to do. She decided to forget the girl's obvious fear and just blindly trust that she couldn't try to stab her. Taking the girls leg, she began to remove the shrapnel and clean the wound.
"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:<"
Once she finished, she moved away from the girl, wiping blood off of her hands. "There, weirdo. You're all good. Quit screaming." Yeah, she had a terrible bedside manner. Whatever. The girl didn't understand her anyway. "I'm going to go join the other survivors. You better get back to your…tribe? City? Village?"
"?"
Celestia jumped, startled by the sudden appearance of a male and a young boy. Tentatively, she nodded.
"Um, yes," her eyes darted to the young boy whose leg was bleeding, and she bit her lip, taking hesitant steps towards the boy. "Can I… um… can I have a look?" she pointed to the wound. Although Celestia knew she wasn't a doctor, she could clean injuries and tie a bandage properly.
"Er, s-sure." Robin took his hands away from his leg, his heart pounding when he saw blood on his hands as well.
Celestia grabbed a spare bottle of water and took out a cloth from one of the bags she and Skye had taken from the plane. Soaking it in water, she removed the bloody bandage from the boy's leg and started to wipe it off.
"What's your name?" Celestia asked, trying to keep the boy distracted. "I'm Celestia. You can call me Cels if you'd like. That's Skye."
While she talked, she took out a medical kid.
Bless them for keeping these kits…
"This is going to hurt a little, okay?" Celestia murmured, taking out a disinfectant and a piece of cotton. "Thankfully, you don't need stitches, but make sure not to put weight on your leg for at least two days." she dabbed the cotton on the wound, biting her lip when the boy flinched. After she was finished, she carefully wrapped a bandage around his wound. "There you go… If there's anywhere you need to go, be it to relieve yourself or to get a breather, ask one of us to take you."
"M-my name is Robin. Have you seen my parents?" Robin had started to consider the possibility that his parents had been killed, and it brought tears to his eyes. This all just felt like a horrible nightmare, but it was real. This was a nightmare he couldn't wake up from in the morning.
"I haven't seen your parents yet," Celestia said carefully. "Skye and I haven't searched yet. You're the first two survivors we've actually found." she rubbed his head, feeling sad for the boy, but at the same time, she felt admiration for how he was handling this. Celestia hadn't had the time for the event to catch up to her yet; she tried keeping herself occupied, but Celestia knew she would be alone with her thoughts sooner or later. Robin was scared and terrified, but he was handling it nicely. However, she cursed the fates for ruining a young boy's life, for taking away his childhood at a very small age. She hoped he wouldn't isolate himself out of despair, but with the spark in his eyes, Celestia could tell he just needed support.
"Oh… t-thanks anyways…" Robin winced as his head gave a sharp jab of pain. It felt like he was starting to get a migraine, and he knew that wouldn't be good in this situation. He held his head in his hands, trying to get the pain to dissipate.
"You should rest," Celestia murmured. "You've lost blood. Here, eat an apple. You should sleep after you've finished it."
Robin nodded and ate the apple quietly in a corner, his legs drawn up to his chest. Don't cry don't cry don't cry…. They're… probably fine. He thought to himself, but there was also the voice of doubt in his mind. They're definitely dead, and now you're stuck on an island, injured, with people you don't know. His head throbbed again, and he just tried to ignore the pain to the best of his ability.
