KASEY: Hey, I've got your friend's test done. Come meet me in my lab.
"Hey, Kitty, your test is done," Courtney said as she stuck her phone back in her pocket.

Kasey peeked around her corner with a grin. She gestured for the girls to join her in her office.

Kasey had the girls sit down across from her. She smiled gently at Kitty, giving Courtbey a glance that told her what she needed to know.
"According to what I found in your DNA, you've got some interesting… changes that have happened to you. I don't know if you were born with it, but it doesn't seem like it. It appears to have been brought on by a traumatic experience or something like that," she explained, leaning forward on her desk, her arms propped under her chest.

"Well…" Kasey took a deep breath and looked down at a stack of papers, straightening them out of nervous habit. When she looked up again, her smile was sympathetic but also excited. "From what Courtney told me, you can walk around in frozen time, correct?"

The memories. They hit her in quick snaps of remembrance, making her gasp unexpectedly. There was no point in hiding it now. "Y-Yes."

"I'm sorry," she said softly. "But something did come out of it, whether that's good or not is up to you. You have a superpower, Kitty."
