Hey! So, didja have any ideas?

I kind of want to do like a end of the world sort of thing, but if you have other ideas that's fine.

Hmm apocalypse is very popular ‘round here. Hey, I have the end of the government type idea that’s super popular if you wanna hear it.

Of course I want to hear it!

The land is broken down into five different parts. We’re not the “United States” anymore; if you suggested that to someone, they’d laugh in your face. Then they’d ask,
“Do you even know what America went through these past thirty years?”
Now, it’d be okay to say no. Because you’re new here. Yes… well, let me tell you, traveler, what you should know and be aware of.
The United State’s government was a rodent on our society, some people might say. They are right. The system of governing was originally a republic. Shocked, huh? That’s stuff they don't teach kids anymore. Our friendly little, “We select people to control you and make decisions for you!” gig. Yeah, well, didn’t work out so well for them… They soon became a democracy, especially after certain presidents came through. Gods. Awful times for America. I could practically hear the Soviet Union laughing at us. Oh, what’s a democracy? Sorry, it’s basically people had free wrought on government goings. What? You’re smiling, traveler. I know, America thirty years ago… whew… what a bust. Be glad you’re not my generation, sweetie. The majority of Gen Zers already killed themselves, foreseeing this in their intelligence and all. What? Oh, yes, I am a Gen Z. All the other Gen insert-letter-here-ers are loong gone. It’s the Cotrians now. Who are they? Your generation! I made up the name. So, anyway, back to the Government. They were in heavy debt from wars and stuff, so they took control of the “calm” people of America. So, what are you doing, here, then? This place is a war zone, thanks to those damned Cotrains. What did they do? Well, they’re… so powerful. They had some wicked natural selection stuff happen… now they’re practically cyborgs. I’d stay away from them. How can you identify them? Well, they’re the biggest gen yet, they’re everywhere, but they’re also really tall… handsome… don’t look at me like that! Anyway, you really should just stay away. Well. Good luck, traveler… I’m going to take a nap, in hopes that the radiation in my liver kills me… good day… farewell…

I like it. So, America became a war zone?

Pretty much, because the government turned against the people and a civil war broke out. I’m making a timeline atm so I can answer a lot of questions if you have any.

So, do people still live there? If so, are they trying to leave?

Yes, people still live there, and no, they're not trying to leave because the U.S gov't would kill them.

Are our characters basically just trying to survive the war in America and stay alive? And do they have like strict rules, like a curfew and stuff like that. Sorry for all the questions.

The questions are fine! It helps a lot for my story!

Our characters are going to be traveling around for any reason you'd like, and they basically have to survive with the harsh, chemical-ridden climate, the gov't, and maybe try to find the remaining Gen Zers? I dunno why they'll be traveling but I thought it was a cool plot.

Okay, maybe we can figure that out along the way. And the Gen Zers are the people that were in America before the war right?

Gen Zers are our generation. I just call them Gen Zers.

Oh, okay. So I have an idea, I dont know if you'll like it, but if you do you can totally use it for your story.

Okay, so you said something about Cyborgs and it got me thinking. What if our characters are travelling because they have witnessed some people that actually got turned into Cyborgs and their emotions were taken away. They have their suspicions that it maybe the American government. I dont know if you want it to be them or some secret group or something. But the people doing it believe that if everyone is robots with no emotions it will stop all wars from happening. But our characters think it's wrong and try to stop them.

I love the idea, but where did I mention cyborgs? My metaphor? "They had some wicked natural selection stuff happen… now they’re practically cyborgs…" That was a metaphor describing how different the Cotrains are.

Yeah, haha I got the idea from your metaphor.

And I got it from one of my plots from one my stories I was working on, but I have so many stories that I probably won't write that one, so you are welcome to take the idea.

Appearance: Her ethnicity is Japanese, so she has a doll like face, hazel eyes and long eyelashes, long silk black hair that is usually put up to be out of the way pale skin, thin but fit, 5'6 long legs and torso.
Usual Outfit: https://pin.it/ako4ylsqfwoxzv This is her outfit but with baggy tan pants and black combat boots and her gas only covers her nose and mouth, she has goggles that are separate and lay on her head most of the time, while her gas mask hangs around her neck.
Personality: Stubborn, definitely tough, hates when people take her lightly because she is a girl. Deep down is kind, but she doesn't show it much unless you get her to open up. Has a hard time sharing her feelings.
Flaws: Has a hard time relating to people. And has the mentality of if she has to kill one person to save millions, she'll do it.
Weapon: Duel swords
Generation: Cotrain
Political Standpoint: Neutral
Other: Has a gas mask on her at all times, just in case, and loves animals.
