"Ray, I'm down here!" Ace went to stand but her wrist was stuck between the bars and her ankle had twisted when she fell. "Great." All she could do at this moment was sit and wait for Ray. A thought crossed her mind, but it would be extremely painful. "If he doesn't come in time I'll break it, but for now I'll just wait."

Ray heard her call and ran carefully in the direction of her voice. “Ace?” He asked, peeking over a solid wall.
“How-what happened?” He grasped the flashlight in his teeth and kneeled next to her, carefully twisting her hand from out of the bars.

"Ah, I just fell, I'm okay." As soon as her wrist was free she rubbed it hoping some of the pain would go away. "Thank you." Looking around she noticed there were a lot of iron bars. "What is all of this?"

Ray lifted her up carefully. “Can you walk?” He glanced up but shrugged it off. “I don’t know. But we should probably go back into the light.”

"Yeah I can walk." She slightly leaned against the bars so Ray wouldn't notice. "I'm going to look a bit more, something tells me this isn't normal and something definitely happened here." Ace took her first step and ignored the pain in her ankle.

Ray grabbed her hand. “No, we can check it out later. There’s pain in your eyes and I can feel it from your movements. Come on, I’ll help you back.” He leaned her on him, taking her weight.

"I don't want to go back." Gently she pushed Ray off of her. "You might be to scared to do anything new but I'm not." She turned and started walking again, making sure to keep a good eye out for a flashlight or something.

Ray grabbed her shoulder firmly. “Ace, I’m not going to let you walk around in pain. We can come back, just not now.”

Ace clicked her tongue and looked back at Ray. "Fine." Wrapping her arm around Ray's shoulders she used him for support. It was really dark on the way back till they turned the corner and was back to the main hall. "We still need to find rooms."

Ray smiled and supported her. “Thatta girl.” He led her with a steeled head and nodded. He hated the dark. He didn’t talk until they were back in the light.
“Maybe we could just make beds from the paper and figure out something later.”

"Yeah, I'd rather not get papaer cuts." She kicked a few papers that were under her feet. "I'll just sleep in one the the machine's up top." One of they had to have comfy seats or something, Ace thought. Even if they didn't it was still better than sleeping on paper.

Ray nodded. “Then I’ll come with you.” He didn’t want to be split up from her until he was positive they were alone in this warehouse.

"Okay." When they got back to the upper floor Ace looked around to find the best place to sleep for the both of them. "We need to find a big machine that can fit both of us."

Ray looked this way and that. They were all large and looming, but not wide enough to fit two people, nor long enough.
“Hmm… maybe a flashlight would help…” He tugged out the light and flicked it on.

Ace just went to the biggest machine she. old find and drug Ray along. "If we have to we can just sleep together." It wasn't that big of a deal to Ace and all she wanted to do right not was sleep.

Ray nodded. He’d rather sleep with her than be apart. He turned off the flashlight and helped her onto the machine, before joining her carefully. He didn’t want to knock her off.

Ace laid next to Ray staying as close as possible so she didn't fall off. "Well, uh, goodnight." Her head laid against his chest and she could feel his heartbeat and breathing. It was a bit strange for her to be this close to him and it was the first time they were sleeping this close to each other. Shaking her head slightly she tried not to think about anything and just go to sleep. Although it was very hard she finally was able to.

Ray stayed awake, though she had drifted off. He gazed up at the ceiling, trying to keep his breathing and heartbeat in check. It was close but not too close. He fought sleep, trying to stay awake. He’d sleep tomorrow or the next day.
