Macha noticed this, and knowing that Sabine wouldn’t want to make a scene, she asked: “Could you teach me how to paint?”
Fae laughed, pressing another kiss to Cruz’s cheek and hooking an arm around his shoulders, her eyes glowing with a soft happiness.
"Más besos para mí." He grinned after mumbling this, looking back to the clay.
Sabine's smile brightened. "Sure! What would you like to learn first?"
Fae suddenly remebered something. Smiling shyly, she took hold of his clay-stained hand. “I still owe you a kiss from last night.”
Macha laughed. “You’re the artist, you choose.” She paused. “I like colours, though.”
He made eye contact with her, "You do?" His lopsided smirk-grin-smile leapt back to his lips.
Fae’s cheeks went bright red. “Remember our trade?”
"Okay." Sabine paused for a minute. "You're going to have to be more specific. Would you like to learn like, simple shapes, or flowers? Or maybe just patterns? Art is very diverse and there are several different ways and styles of painting." She explained. "Sorry if this is confusing."
"Oh, sí, our trade." He chortled.
Fae’s whole face went red. “Um, y-yeah.”
“Erm, flowers.”, Macha decided.
He was quiet now, just letting the air tense between them. Not upset tension, but heart-tugging tension.
"Okay. Flowers are a good place to start." Sabine directed Macha's hands through some simple painting techniques, pointing out tricks and tips as they went along.
Oh god. Fae’s heart trembled with longing. She couldn’t stand it any more. Letting her eyes fall shut, she leaned towards Cruz.
Macha found the lesson very helpful, and before long she’d painted a simple but pretty beginner flower scene.
His head followed the natural tilt, settling down his eyelids to press back into the kiss. He decided this was definitely a good kiss.
Fae’s hands traveled to the back of Cruz’s neck and head, one hand buried in his hair as her lips parted ever so slightly. This— this is nice.
August blinked, realizing the noise of the clay wheel had come to a stop.
Fae pulled away, her lips inches from his. “You have beautiful eyes. Has anyone ever told you that?”, she breathed, lost in the warm, expressive pools of chocolate that formed Cruz’s irises.
He blinked a few times, to get rid of the wistful glaze that had formed across his eyes from ten seconds of passionate kissing. "Pienso," was all what mostly he could manage, an i think in Spanish. Coldplay still reeled on melodiously in the background, funnilt enough, like a dramatic romance novel turned into an over enthusiastic movie version directed by two angsty-born introverted teenagers whose pasttime was shippng nonexistant people together.
Fae smiled softly, leaning forward again just enough so that their lips brushed lightly.

Fae could feel the warmth of Cruz’s hand through the cool slickness of the clay, and not caring, she leaned into his touch, closing her eyes for a moment. A mix of affection and pride welled up inside of her, and all of a sudden she felt a blessed absence. The fear, the doubt, had been washed away momentarily. She hadn’t noticed their plagueing presence until they were gone. “I don’t think we’re going to get much work done.”, she murmured jokingly, her lips close to his.

He took a breath just to steady the thoughts in his head, "Well…" he laughed quietly, keeping his voice at a quiet rasp, "I think August already walked in on us cos the door's shut now," his mellow expression wore hints of humor from this.

He looked off to the side as if he didn't already have a burning answer, but finally satisfied her question with a quiet and certain "No."
"It's beautiful Macha! You're a natural!" Sabine praised her friend.
