Fae could sense something almost sad on the air, but she didn’t dare prod. “That’s a beautiful name.”, she replied simply with undertones of consolation.

Cruz squinted, feeling like his uncle was trying to send an unsaid message to his girlfriend.

Cruz's face was starting to go red now, and he tried hiding his face with his jacket cuff, "I am not dancing the tango," he insisted, but was smiling.
Julio just laughed.
Fae chuckled. “I’ll teach you something you want if you teach me to tango.”
"I'm just fine the way I am without dance," he sheepishly replied.
"Well then why don't you show her how you play that loud guitar of yours?"
"Electric, Tío. Electric guitar." He corrected.
Fae watched this exchange with amusement, absentmindedly braiding her hair.
"Well then! Go show off!"
Cruz groaned, "Fine.." he stood to wash out his empty bowl.
Fae stood as well, offering to bring Julio’s bowl to the sink for him.
"Oh, no," he stood up, "It would be indecent of me to make our guest wash the dishes," he took her bowl instead, to go wash for her.
