“You’re on.”, she grinned back, forgetting that she didn’t actually know where his room was.

@KalamariCakes

He began off in a run.

@blue_topaz

Fae sprinted after him, realizing she had no idea where his room actually was.

@KalamariCakes

He turned quickly behind a door and shut it behind himself, laughing brightly.

@blue_topaz

Fae thumped on the door, laughing, her sides heaving. "Cruz! pant Let me in! You win–pant– fine!"

@KalamariCakes

He finally opened the door, his face near as red as tomatoes with laughter when he let her in.

@blue_topaz

Fae, who had been leaning against the door, tumbled in when he opened it, doubling over in a fit of giggles.

@KalamariCakes

He made sure to catch her, "You suck at races," he laughed and laughed.

@blue_topaz

Cruz caught her, and she gasped, giggling, as his finger poked her stomach, tickling her.

(Fae is so incredibly ticklish you wouldn't believe)

@KalamariCakes

Ohhh yes )

He let her go to steady herself, and he shut the door behind them. His room was colors a warm slate grey, black curtains shutting out the outdoors. A tall, single lamp lit up his room, largely bare except for his bed, a desk and stool, a shelf with some trinkets and his two guitars.

@blue_topaz

Fae leaned against the closed door, eyes passing over the items in the room. A tiny twinge of fear prickled in her stomach. It's his room Fae, so what?!

@KalamariCakes

Cruz traipsed casually to his desk, pulling out the antennae of an obviously old radio, turning it on and flipping through the stations.

@blue_topaz

Fae came over, fingers trailing across his desk. The static of the raidio was the only noise in the rrom. "I am never racing you again.", she joked, resting her head on his shoulder.

@KalamariCakes

"Smart choice," he replied back softly, settling with a cheesy country station since all the others were flawed with static.

@blue_topaz

Fae indicated to one of his guitars. "Could you teach me?"

@KalamariCakes

"Choose one," he allowed, pulling the stool from his desk to the foot of his bed.

@blue_topaz

Fae picked the one on the right, handing it to Cruz with a wide smile.

@KalamariCakes

"Electric?" He squinted at her with a challenging smile. "You sure?"

@blue_topaz

She raised a teasing eyebrow. "You think I can't do it?", she quiped back jokingly.

@KalamariCakes

"Well, honestly," he shrugged, "No,"

@blue_topaz

Fae huffed, a playful sparkle in her eyes. "Try me." She hopped up on the bed.

@KalamariCakes

"I will." He smirked, handing her the intrument and plugging it in.

@blue_topaz

Fae pushed down on the strings, testing out each note and comparing them to the notes of her clarinet. Grinning at Cruz, she played a slightly clumsy McDonalds theme sone.

@blue_topaz

*song

@KalamariCakes

He squinted at her, saying with a stereotypical emo teenager accent, "Stop trying to Americanize me,"

@Natasha

Sabine waited for Macha at the other end of the fair. She grinned. Beat ya She thought to herself.

@blue_topaz

Fae giggled, playing a few scales so that she could figure out where all the notes where. After a few minutes, she had figured out a bit of the Harry Potter theme song.

Macha shot above the festival, flapping her huge wings.

@KalamariCakes

Cruz sat on the floor against the wall, watching her with his lopsided smile.

@blue_topaz

Fae could feel Cruz watching her, and she raised her head a bit to smile at him. “How’m’I doing?”, she asked, playing another scale, slowly.

@KalamariCakes

"Eh, good, for an amateur." He teased, picking bits of dandruff from his hair.
