"That all depends on what you want but of course I can pretend like I know how to make food." He did know how he just didn't do it often.

Lillian nodded and smiled at him, "Deal."

"Something about the way that you walked into my living room casually and confident looking at the mess I am. But still you, still you want me," He had grown to love this song more than his own life.

Lillian grinned brightly, she recognized this song and adored it immensely. She started to hum along with him.

"Stress lines and cigarettes, politics, and deficits. Late bills and overages, screaming and hollering. But still you, still you want me," His grip around her tighten in a way that said 'I love you'. Lillian nuzzled against him saying 'I love you too'. She was smiling brightly as he sang.

He sang through the song, their song, happily.

Lillian was smiling the whole time, she loved their song. Why? It was their song.

"How does Chicken Parmesan or something sound? I think we have chicken breasts in the freezer and the rest is probably somewhere given some improvisation."

Lillian nodded and smiled happily slowly moving so he could leave, "Sounds perfect."

"Alrighty then, some chicken for the queen," he kissed her cheek and rushed off to the kitchen.

Lillian laughed and followed him over to the kitchen. She watched as he went to work.

(I want food…. but I shouldn't…. But I want it.)

He put the chicken in the oven and leaned over the counter on his elbows to look at her.

Lillian smiled softly at him. She leaned over and kissed his cheek.
