“I agree,” he smiled. “Although it seems weird to celebrate me.” Half the reason he didn’t enjoy his birthday.

Lilian laughed, "I think you not having cancer would be a reason to celebrate you."

“That’s true. I’m nervous though,”

“Don’t be, no matter what happens we’ll get through this okay?”

“I know. It’s just that if I do still have cancer, I can’t go to college,”

"Okay, then I won't go either. Take a gap year or something."

“I won’t be able to go for as long as I have it and I want you to go. Your future should t ride upon your boyfriends cancer,”

Lillian paused and nodded, "Okay, but I'm not going to some college hours away. I'll stay local, get my gen eds done."

He took her hands and stared at them as he spoke, “Go where you want. Your life can’t be dependent on me,”

Lillian smiled as she looked at him squeezing his hands, "And it's not. I don't think I could bear to be away from you anyways."

Darren sighed and pulled her into a hug. “I love you,”

Lillian hugged him back, "I love you too."

“I’m sure everything will be fine tomorrow,”

"I'm positive everything will be."

Fleur didn't want to leave him, afraid that if she did, he would turn back into Shaxx. She hesitantly laid down beside him. "Are you okay?"

“You don’t have to be afraid that every time you leave, I’ll turn. And yeah I’m fine,”

“Okay,” she replied softly. Was that his way of telling her to go? She sat up, hesitating whether to get off the bed or not.

He turned to look at her, his eyes melting beneath her stare. Cooper pulled her down into his lips.

Fleur felt her heart flutter when they kissed. She didn’t know if it was just her, but she knew that she loved him, and would no matter what.

Cooper lives and missed Belle so much it hurt but he found the only way he could make it better was to be with Fleur. He always felt like he was a bother or that she was mad at him and he couldn’t handle that.

"I'm positive everything will be."

Darren has been up for awhile, fretting about the appointment.

Lillian was attempting to calm him down. She had woken up not that long ago, but Darren was seriously worrying, "Everything will be fine."

“I hope so,” his hand was shaking more than usual.

Lillian gently grabbed his hand, "I know so."

He looked up at her with a tear stained face although he had stopped crying. “I’m scared,”

Lillian gave him a small reassuring smile, "I know babe. I'm right here for you okay? No matter what happens."

He nodded bravely, "We should get going,"

Lillian nodded, "Yeah. Let's go babe."
