Darren looked at her, his smile dropped as he hit his knees in pain. His eyes blackened and he let out a roar that rattled the house and could be heard all over town.

👍 don’t hate you either.

(Yay!)

Lillian covered her ears as the roar sounded throughout. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest. What the fuck just happened?! "D-Darren?"

“Cooper,” he growled. “Something happened,”

Lillian's eyes grew wide. She moved to stand up, "Shit."

Darren whimpered, “We need To go, he’s gonna die,”

Lillian walked over and kneeled down next to him, "Then let's go."

Darren shimmered to Belle. “Where is he?” He cried, “Where my brother?!”

She nearly screamed, he scared her so bad. "He's in the warehouse back by the water. I only did what he told me to!" She pushed past him. She didn't want to confront the body until she had to. By then, it'd be just another case.

“Belle! On Stafford?” He grabbed her arm to pull her back.

“Where else?" She yanked her arm out of his grip and kept walking. If she stayed emotionless and cold to everyone she saw on the walk home, no one would notice.

Darren grabbed Lillian and shimmered to the warehouse where he froze, looking at his brother dangling from a rope. He screamed, “Cooper!”

Lillian took a large intake of air her hands went to her face. She couldn't move, holy shit he did this. He was trying to, or had he, kill himself, "Oh my God."

“Call the police,” Darren cried as he tried to get his brother down from the rope. “Cooper, what did you do?”

Lillian nodded as she pulled her phone out and dialed 911, "Hello? We need an ambulance, like now."

Darren held Cooper close and he rocked back and forth on the ground. “Please don’t die. Please,”

Sirens could be heard as the ambulance arrived. Lillian was crouched down next to Darren, "Just a little bit longer."

Darren nodded as he ran his fingers through Cooper hair. “I love him, I don’t want him to go,”

The paramedics rushed in and with them Leo? He was moving towards Darren and Lillian specifically. Lillian asked wordlessly, "Why are you here?"

"I'm on loan," Leo managed a quick wink, "Besides I figured it might do some good if there was a familiar face. Darren, I swear we're not letting your brother go without a fight. Got it?"

The other paramedics were working to help Cooper.

Darren backed up from Cooper, he couldn’t watch this.

Leo left them to go help with Cooper. There was a lot that needed to be done, and fast if Cooper was to live. Lillian wrapped her arms around Darren, "I'm here if you need me okay?"

(Do you want my med notes? I planned out how to make Cooper live earlier today in the car)

So when you hang yourself, usually, your neck breaks and your brain dies and so do you but SOMETIMES… Your neck just fractures a bit and doesn't completely break but it starts to stop oxygen and blood from getting to your brain. You gasp for air and your body pretends to be dead to get rid of the pain. (Brain Ischemia) When all your veins/arteries that carry blood to the brain get blocked (In this case by the rope). So you need to get blood to his brain carrying oxygen BEFORE his carotid artery closes. IF it does close then his brain won't have the necessary blood levels and then my favorite character dies and I'll be sad…

This thing called your vagal relex… this reflex helps your heart rate and if it's not getting blood it will cause your blood pressure and heart rate to… uhh… plummet.
