Lillian was laughing, "Should we take him now?"

“Sure, it’s probably better for him to be home,” Ryan agreed.
Darren glanced over, his smile fading. “Yeah, home’ll be better,”

She chewed on her lip lightly. She was just kind of standing there like an awkward statue, not really knowing what to do.

Ryan smiled lightly and took the baby from Cooper, “Would you put her upstairs Belle?” An excuse for her to go.

Lillian felt her smile fade, "Okay, do you think you can lift him Darren?"

She nodded slowly, taking the baby and heading upstairs, more than grateful that he'd given her an excuse to leave.

“Yeah but we could just wake him u— Nevermind,” Darren walked over and picked him up assuming he could use the sleep.

“Alrighty, bye guys thanks for stopping in,” Ryan smiled as he too went upstairs.

She cradled Donatella in her arms, humming lightly, trying to relax.

"Bye Ryan! Say goodbye to Belle for us," Lillian gave him a wave. One eye on Darren at all times.

“I will thanks for stopping by!” He called without yelling, mindful of Austin who had followed Belle.

Lillian walked out after him, "What? Something up?"

“He’s heavy, it makes me light headed,”

Lillian frowned as she thought for a second, "I could try and take him for you."

Darren shook his head and put his brother in the car. “It’s fine,”

Lillian nodded, "Okay, just thought I could try to help. I could drive if you need me too?"

He closed the door and leaned against the car, holding the keys out for her.

Lillian smiled and took the keys, "Alright. Get in then."

She took a few deep breaths, why was she so tense? She wasn't completely sure.
