Soulmate/ Superhero Roleplay (Closed)

“How did you get yourself cut like that?”

"Uh, I probably tripped, or something like that.." She knew dang well how she got cut like that, but what was Adelyn gonna think if she straight out said that she was a superhero?

“Just because I’m studying law doesn’t mean I’m not dumb enough to realize that that-“ Adelyn said gesturing to Phoenix’s gash, “-was not gotten ‘falling down the stairs. My brother is a doctor for heaven’s sake.”

She sighed, then looked at Adelyn. "If I told you how I got it you wouldn't believe me."

Adelyn raised an eyebrow, “Try me.”

She looked away and whispered, "What if I told you the superhero Inferno and I were the same person."

Adelyn squinted at her, holy cows they.., “I can see the resemblance..”

She quietly laughed. "Well, yeah. I kinda got this in a fight earlier," she pointed at the gash. As more proof to her case, she opened her hand and conjured a flame. After showing it off for a second, it flickered and disappered.

Adelyn nodded, “Oh yeah I saw you.”

"What?" She looked over at her friend and cocked her head to the side, confused. "I thought you said you were studying all day?"

“For the most, yea. Then I finished my essay.”

She gave a slight nod, still sending her a confused look.

“Is, is it too hard to piece together? I mean I’m literally wearing the same clothes..”

It suddenly clicked. She slapped herself, then said, "Oh my God! How did I not figure it out sooner! Oh my God I'm an idiot!" She stopped, slapped herself again, then looked over at her friend. "Wow…"

“Like the only think I do is wear a masquerade mask.” Adelyn chuckled, “Guess we’re friends with a mask and without.”

(important notice: I WILL NOT BE ON NOTEBOOK.AI AFTER TOMORROW FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS. I am going to Korea for the summer! I can't bring any tech because of my B+ in theater… So I'll be on hiatus… i'll be leaving for the next two months soon! can someone take over sam for me?)

(That's too bad that @Meow possibly left. I'd say yes to Corban/Phoenix if it weren't for the fact that I'm going to be gone until June 11th, and I'm sure you'd like to continue the RP before then.)

"Yeah," she laughed. "I guess so." She still felt really stupid for taking so long to figure it out.

“Anyways we should get your gash wrapped up.” Adelyn said, adjusting her backpack straps.

She looked back down at the wound, and how much she was bleeding. "Yeah, that would probably be a good idea."

“Is your house more near than my dorm…?”

Elm bumped into two girls while going to the store. Dressed I normal clothes, he looked like a bystander rather than a hero.

"Your dorm is probably closer, because my apartment is in the other direction." As she said that, someone bumped into her. Before they could see the amount of blood covering her arm, she quickly hid it behind her back.

“Let’s go to my dorm then…” Adelyn said, she turned to face the person who bumped into them.

(I'm back, if you'd still like Corvin/Phoenix to be a thing.)
