Corvin watches the man before him. He doesn't know his name; doesn't care to know his name. The only thing he wants that has anything to do with this guy, is the fact that it is Corvin's job to kill him. The man grabs at his chest, at his heart, overcome with a dark, consuming fear.
Corvin, hands still at his sides, smiles darkly. "Goodbye." The man in front of him staggers back, blinded by visions, nightmares of his own making. He flees from Corvin, a pained, terrible sound coming from his throat…..and then the man leaps from the harbor edge.
Just like that.
Corvin 's eyes go from their purpled hue to their normal dark gray. His skin changes from almost white to its normal ivory. He adjusts his black topcoat around him, stuffs his hands into his pockets, and walks away from the scene whistling a cheery tune.
