Summer Camp Counselors (OPEN)

(Me? Back from the dead? It’s more likely than you think)

A group of twenty-somethings are hired as counselors for a sleepaway camp, Farrenway Valley. Immediately, friends and rivalries form. The children are all in the age range of seven to fifteen and most likely horrible. Have fun.

Background: Went to camp place because her life sucked. She was being harassed, and hoped to escape from the weirdo guy. So now she's here.

Personality: Very loud and dramatic, slow to anger, warm, he tries to be involved and like an older brother but he sometimes comes off as clingy/annoying
Background: He was adopted when he was young, but he doesn't remember his birth parents. His dad made him get a summer job to try and get him out of the house. He dropped out of college after two years of going there because he wasn't sure what he wanted to do with his life.
Greatest fear: Somehow losing his dad

Appearance: Chin length straight light brown hair with a fading light blue dye at the tips, pale leaf green eyes, pale skin that will definitely end up burnt a week into the camp before turning a light tan, around 5'2" tall, and a boxy built body.
Personality: A bit hot-headed, tired of these kids, way too competitive for their own good, heavily relies on technology, Redbull, and coffee.
Background: Grew up in a typical middle-class family with a mom, dad, and a younger sister. They took the job because it had semi-decent pay, they need the money, and no one from their home town would be there so they could actually be who they want to be. In other words, use they/them pronouns without getting weird looks or being bullied.
Greatest fear: Meeting someone from their home town

Other: They got that social anxiety which makes them wonder further as to why they took this job despite how being ill-equipped to deal with these children.

"Yeah, love you too, Dad. Bye," Marcus said. He pressed the "end call" button on his phone and dropped it back into his pocket. He wasn't exactly sure where he was supposed to go. All counselors had to come to the camp a day before the kids did to help everything get set up. I guess I should just start walking towards the dining hall, he thought, maybe there's some sort of sign-in sheet there. Hopefully, I'll find other counselors there, too.

Lotus arrived at the camp and made sure to text their family to let them know they made it okay. They let out a slight sigh as they walked in. Hopefully, they wouldn't have to surrender their laptop and phone for the entire summer. They hadn't seen anything saying they couldn't have them, so they brought the tech anyway. They looked to see another guy looking around and caught up to them, "Hey. Do you know where the new counselors are supposed to go?"
