(@Lee+Co it’s alright!)

@PastelTart

(Are we going to continue this?)

(oh, right! sorry, I'm probably going to be a bit inactive. A lot is going on in my life right now)

Marcus thought he could get lost in that smile. It was just… beautiful. She was beautiful. He realized he was probably staring and quickly looked to the ground. He cleared his throat. "Uh, yeah! Let's go."

@ShadeStar

Lotus gave a nod, "Lead the way then alumni."

@PastelTart

Raven pretended not to notice he was staring, knowing he would most likely get embarrassed, although she would never admit out loud that his eyes were a nice color, but that's just because she thought blue-grey was a nice color, nothing else. She followed Marcus out of the dining hall and toward the cabins.

He felt incredibly awkward as they walked. "So," he tried, "where are you guys from?"

(I'm imagining this camp is somewhere in New Jersey, btw)

@ShadeStar

"I'm from Rochester," Lotus responded with a little shrug, "Or rather I'm going to college there."

@PastelTart

"Wisconsin. That's where I was born anyway. My mom made me move around a lot." Raven answered. "I came here from New York City."

@rot-baby-rot!

"Oh, really? Me and my dad live in NYC," Marcus said. "Maybe we're close to each other."

@PastelTart

"Oh! Well, that would be neat." She responded, actually thinking so. "I lived in an apartment building, across the street from that old place…with the…uh…the big sign that said…I'm sorry, I can't remember."

@PastelTart

(By the way, I just changed my username.)

"Eh, it's fine, we all blank out sometimes. How did you guys find this job? You said before that you'd never been here, right?" Marcus said. Was he asking too many questions? He wasn't sure what else to talk about.

@ShadeStar

"I was looking for a job that would get me out of town for the summer," Lotus shrugged as they answered, "This opened up and had a pretty decent pay, so I took it."

@PastelTart

"Same here." Raven responded, not willing to tell them about Tim. She looked at the row of cabins a few yards ahead, with big, bright numbers painted next to the doors.

(Sorry I haven't been on a lot. I'm going to be kinda busy until December. Also, I'm not really sure where all of the characters are at the moment, but when y'all are ready (if you want to) we can skip to when the kids show up.)

"I think this is me," Marcus said, pointing to his cabin. It looked kind of big, but it would probably feel a lot smaller when a dozen kids were running through it. "I can't believe this is something that's like, actually happening. We're gonna be in charge of kids. What if I injure one of them?"

group

(Hey, could I be one of the kids? Mostly as a joke, but I have like the perfect character.)

@rot-baby-rot!

(Definitely!)

(Other: He has a British accent and is kind of strange. But super polite)

@ShadeStar

"You won't do that," Lotus assured him, "I'm going to head to my cabin. So I'll see you guys later."

@PastelTart

"Yeah, you definitely won't hurt them. See ya." Raven said, walking toward her cabin. She reached for the dark oak door, and went inside.
