"Unfortunately oats and slime aren't very appealing to me," he commented back, scoping for someplace to sit. "Oh, and thanks for saving me from imminent death,"
Superhero RP Anyone?
"You're welcome." Marya held her shoulders up with pride, "It was our motto to keep people safe." she pushed a chair towards Gabriel with her foot and sat on the kitchen counter.
He sat himself down, "But I wasn't a person," he cocked his head curiously. "You like dogs?"
"Yes, I'm a total dog person." Marya smiled, "But my dog died."
"Well!" He grinned, "Now you have a friend and a dog. Congrats," he smiled, "All you have to do is feed me," there was a playful tinge in his words
"So the stories are true, when you save a dog you can never shake them off." Marya laughed, "I'm sure you can make do with your own food. I don't want to give you oatmeal considering your distaste for it."
"You have nothing else?" He blinked.
"See what I mean now," I said pointing to the screen.
"No, I can't see," Hunter replied, "What's happening?"
"First of all can you see me?"
"Just random food all around the kitchen and chips that I'm hoarding in my room." Marya frowned. "Don't go into my room. Ever. Or I'll be pissed off." she grabbed a loaf of bread from a cabinet and threw it at Gabriel, "Go make yourself a sandwich."
Hunter shook her head, "I can't see anything. I'm blind," she explained
He jumped, but caught it, "Alright then, Spicy," he commented back with a nickname.
"Marya." she corrected, before heading back towards her room.
"Mary," he replied, picking out the butt of the loaf and cewing on it.
"Marya."
"That makes more sense, try these," I said handing Hunter the goggles. "They'll let you see while you wear them."
He rested back in his chair, quieting to stuff himself with bread.
Hunter raised an eyebrow, "I doubt that," she put on the goggles, and as she assumed, they didn't work. She handed the goggles back to Kineses, "They don't work, but don't worry about me, I manage."
Marya smiled and opened the door to her room, hit with nostalgia. Felix. Why? She caressed her locket.
To Marya, with love.
"You have to turn them on, logic."
Gabriel looked around silently, thinking of ways to convince Mary he could stay.
Hunter put them back on and turned on the switch. They still didn't work, "Nope, still nothing."
(Marya!)
(Caitlin, I think it's obvious that @LeafyLemur doesn't want her character's blindness magically cured)
Lol, i know. Gabe is messing with her )

(It's not being magically cured, I'm just messing about)
The sound of metal clinking came from the main doors. A letter. Of course. The daily letter. Marya took it and dropped it on her bed before going back to the kitchen. "Gabriel?! Where do you live? You should go home."
"Uh, way out. Kind of in the country," he replied casually.
"Then we'll leave tomorrow." Marya sat on the kitchen counter again and yawned, "I think it's best if we go to bed."
"At least you can hear them, I'm still working on those, the tri-wire just not working with me," I said taking the goggles back.
