"Where do I sleep?" He asked, closing the bag of bread.
Superhero RP Anyone?
Hunter nodded and listened to the conversation.
(Bye everyone, I have leave now)
"Why don't I go grab a bunch of dead bodies and make you a bed?" Marya grinned, "Not really. Just kidding. You can sleep in Luka's room."
He laughed quietly, "I like your humor," he stood up, "And okay. Who's Luka?"
"My brother." Marya sighed, "He's dead."
Gabriel looked down, but his expression remained unchanged. His voice quieted though. "Sorry to hear that.."
"They all are." Marya led him to Luka's room. "He's not really my brother. Just felt like one." the room was tidy, well kept bed, tons of personal items and posters about bands. She leaned into the doorway, "I was taught not to cry. But I did anyway."
"I don't blame you." He stepped inside, "It's rough losing somebody you love,"
(Gtg soon )
Marya nodded, "You can crash here for the night."
"Thanks," he replied, sitting down on the bed. "You can just call me Gabe," he offered.
Marya refused, "I prefer to call people by their real names. Unless we're undercover."
"It is my real name," he shrugged, "Just shorter," he reasoned, lying back on the bed.
"Okay then. Gabe." Marya smiled and left, closing the door behind her.
(Why does Gabriel want to stay so much?)
You'll find out soon enough, lol )
He sat back all the way, stared for a few minutes, and dozed off.
oke)
Marya headed back to her room and ripped open the letter.
Dear Marya,
I'm sorry. I was blinded by the prospect of my own family and I didn't care about yours. I have a million things to say to you. Please just meet me face to face. Or respond. I love you.
-Felix
They were getting shorter. Was Felix giving up? Marya hoped so.
The apocalypse has started.
Gabriel slept soundly, for the most part. It would get worse as the night lingered on..
Marya closed the window curtains and put on her pajamas, yawning and preparing herself to wake up tomorrow. Every morning, she'd forget that they were dead. And it broke her heart when she remembered they were. So Marya collapsed on her bed, tired, but she couldn't sleep.
Time dragged on unexpectedly fast in the nighttime. And at some point just before two, she could hear canine whimpers in Luka's room.
Marya had fell asleep, but the noises woke her up. Rubbing her eyes, Marya walked to Luka's room. "Luka? What are you doing in there? I thought I told you not to make noises while I'm-" she yawned, "-sleeping." Marya's hair was all over the place and she knocked on Luka's door. "Luka, is Basil still whimpering? Make him shut up." Marya yawned again, "Or I'll tell Bakarne."
The whimpers hushed at her voice, and the canine thumped his tail in relief and e,barrassment.
"Basil? Is Luka not treating you well?" Marya opened the door, "Luk-oh. Luka's dead. Basil's dead. Bakarne's dead. Of course. Gabriel?"
His snout poked out from under the bed.
"Wolf form, huh." Marya sat down on the bed, "Please don't change back, I like you better as a dog then naked." she leaned down and pet Gabe's snout. "Scared?"
He emerged his whole head, ears lowered submissively.
"I know you can't talk, but can you howl?" Marya went down on the floor and laid herself on it, "Come out."
"Mm, mm, mm," he whimpered a little, keeping his broad, thick and furry head down, dog-army-crawling to her.
