Kameo wobbled around, trying to jump overboard. But he just fell onto one of the rowboats attached to the side. Doesn't matter, I'm dying anyways.

"You're always so damn competitive," he sighed, shaking his head in mock chastisement.

"I like to think of it as determination." Leah replied, flashing a sideways grin.

"That's just a nice way to say you have to be the winner," Daso said, smirking. "Although, I've won something you can never beat me in."

"What could you have beaten me in? Flirting?" Leah teased.

It wasn't working. Kameo checked the label: water

It's too late to turn back now. Kameo pushed himself off of the rowboat, landing in the ocean.

Cicada decided to leave the two lovebirds be she limped out onto the deck just in time to see Kameo launching a rowboat into the sea.

( When Kameo almost died, I was literally already preparing Leah's eulogy xD )

"Darling, you're the one who makes me speechless." Leah grinned, blushing even more. It felt odd not to be wearing her captain's hat and in it's stead, her red hair falling around her face.

Everything felt too perfect. Daso decided he'd been in dream world long enough. He kissed Leah's nose gently before sighing and pulling away. "Guess we should go check on the crew after the attack."

The water enveloped him, carrying him further and further away from the ship. I can die like this. It's peaceful.

Cicada saw Kameo jump off the rowboat. "GOD DAMN IT KAMEO!' She shouted as she jumped into the ocean to try and reach him.

The water filled his lungs and he slowly sank to the bottom.

Cicada's body was protesting against her efforts to save Kameo. Her adrenaline, mind, and soul was against the body. She dove down deep into the ocean to try and reach him.
