Zanna walked down to the port. She saw no new ships and let out a slight sigh, her body rested against the wall. She rubbed at her eye as she scanned the horizon looking for any new ships. Where was it?
The Andromeda (Pirate RP//closed)
"So, I'm following her for reasons unknown to even myself," she continued to mutter to herself as she headed towards the port, her bag slung over her shoulder. "I mean, what if she knows Daso, right? She looks like a pirate. Alluring, but filthy." She glanced down at the bracelet on her wrist. "What am I getting myself into?"
Zanna glanced over at the girl who had been following her. She looked like someone from Sole, and well, Zanna didn't. Most knew to keep their distance, but not this girl apparently. A small smile flicked onto her face as she sat down and took off her prosthetic leg. It needed a tune up anyway.
"Holy shit she just took off her leg," she gasped. "The prosthetic looked so real. I wonder where she got it. Sole's prosthetic limbs are pathetic at best." She paused. "Heh, pathetic, prosthetic." She fiddled with her bag. "I want to ask. But she scares me." She walked a bit closer, pretending to gaze out over the ocean, both hoping and fearing the girl would notice her.
Zanna kept working on the leg, but spotted the girl getting closer. Without looking up she said, "What do you want?"
"Where'd you get your prosthetic?" Dara demanded, her heart racing. She pulled her bag closer to her. Was this a good idea? What if she mugged her and stole her bag? She didn't seem that friendly. Wow, she had so many regrets already and she'd only said one thing so far.
"Made it myself," Zanna responded. She reattached the limb and stood up. Testing it with light weight to make sure it hadn't been put on wrong, "With the help of a few dead friends."
Dara blinked, narrowing her eyes at the leg. "It's incredibly elegant. And the motions are so fluid." She glanced away. "I'm something of an inventor. Well, not really. I like to read books and pretend I'm an inventor. I'm more of a closeted genius."
Zanna chuckled a little, "Thank you. Now if I can ask, why are you here at the port? Normally people who like books aren't."
(I've gtg.)
"Oh, I'm waiting for my brother who I tried to have killed," she explained, waving a flippant hand. "He's on some pirate ship. The Andromeda, or whatever."
(I've gtg.)
(oh okay, see ya)
(Oh, I’m waiting for my brother who I tried to have killed.
Just a normal, everyday reason.)
(looool)
(I'm back!)
Zanna perked up slightly at the mention of The Andromeda. Then frowned when she remembered that this girl almost killed her brother, "Your waiting for The Andromeda? To meet your brother whom you almost killed. Okay."
"Yeah, it's a helluva story," Dara laughed, shaking her head. It wasn't really funny, but she kinda saw the humor in it. "So here I am, journeying to make amends. What are you doing in Sole? You don't look like you've come to receive our lovely message."
"Oh heck no," Zanna made a disgusting face. She shook her head, "I travel from sector to sector. Doing whatever I can to stay alive. If you stay unnoticed, Sole's a nice place to hide out. That and I have an old friend, who probably thinks I'm dead, but I thought she was dead, so it's sort of even. Anyways, she's aboard The Andromeda and I've just been waiting since."
"So you're after the Andromeda too, huh?" Dara puckered her lips. "I only know of Daso and some redhead girl. I got them arrested. The redhead seemed like kind of an idiot, but I'm not gonna judge."
"Redhead? And an idiot?" Zanna laughed slightly, "Seems like you met my friend. If she's still as I remember. Why was she an idiot?"
(Who got arrested again? I forget now that the rp had been dead for a while… xD)
"She came after my brother and got herself arrested, even though he presumably told her to stay away," she explained, her eyes turned towards the sea. "I bet she thought she was being a good friend. She must not really know my brother, because she would have known better."
(It was Cicada. That was the redhead idiot.)
(Oh yeah, I remember now. And then Leah (even more of a redheaded idiot) managed to get shot.)
Zanna looked out to the horizon with a smile on her lips, "Cicada wouldn't have cared. She helps anyone she finds a friend. If they are both crewmates. she would definitely get arrested for him."
(Lol. They are both idiots.)
(If you talk, you’re gonna get shot.)
Leah started to wander off towards the other side of the boat, watching the city every moment or so in a slower, groggier pace. She honestly looked a bit tired and on the verge of falling asleep, though she continued to keep herself awake. There was no way that she was going to drift off when they were so close to a city. Baz continued to follow after her, studying her with a thoughtful and concerned expression, as if he were trying to pinpoint what was wrong with her. Has she been sleeping enough lately?
Zanna looked out to the horizon with a smile on her lips, "Cicada wouldn't have cared. She helps anyone she finds a friend. If they are both crewmates. she would definitely get arrested for him."
"Guess that's what happened," Dara shrugged. "Couldn't be me, though. If a friend of mine got arrested, they are on their own. Shouldn't have gotten arrested."
Zanna raised an eyebrow, "Even if you're the one that caused them to get arrested? That seems a little cruel."
