"If I had to guess, I'd say yeah," Callie piped up. She hadn't really wanted to say anything. Despite being the same age as Fox and equally annoyed, she knew that everyone in the flock wanted to protect each other. This was probably to keep them safe, right? Still, she couldn't stifle the feeling that she wanted to help more. It wasn't like she couldn't fight–she could be just as good as them if they'd let her, dammit–and her senses definitely came in handy.

"We should probably check on them," Jax suggested in a low voice. "Before, you know, more Erasers come."
Fox nodded. “Let’s go then. They’re taking a long time, and I have the awful feeling they might do something stupid, like try to fight off a whole pack of Erasers by themselves,” he commented.

(Reese and Winston are cleaning off their wounds and everyone else is waiting for them but some of the younger kids are planning to go see what’s taking them so long. Does that make sense?)
(Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense actually, thanks!)

"I mean, didn't they try to do that earlier?" Ellie asked, overhearing their conversation.
Winston walked back over to the group again, a hand on his lower back. He hid his pain behind a fake smile. "Are you guys ready to go?"
Callie snorted. "You have an awful feeling?" she joked, trying to push that twinge of something's wrong into a more comedic light. Premonition was not all it was cracked up to be. Callie adjusted her glasses. "I'd be willing to bet that's exactly what they're discussing."
(f r i c c just ignore that post)
Fox couldn’t help feeling relieved at the sight of the older boys. “Yeah,” he responded, brows furrowing as he noticed that both Reese and Winston were clearly injured, but he decided not to comment on it. “I’m ready to blow this popsicle stand.”

Ellie jumped as he came back, she didn't expect them back so soon. "Oh, uh, yeah! Feeling any better?" she asked, biting her lip a bit.
Jax nodded, and sighed a bit with relief that they were okay. "Are we gonna fly or do we have to walk?" She asked, her wings itching to be unfurled.
Ellie jumped as he came back, she didn't expect them back so soon. "Oh, uh, yeah! Feeling any better?" she asked, biting her lip a bit.
"Yeah, sure," he said, flashing her a look that said, Hell no. "Where do we plan on heading, anyways?"
school
"I don't know, maybe the countryside? We could all use some, well, exercise," Ellie hoped they all got what she was implying. If not, well, then she was going to have to clarify.
He caught wind of what she was saying and nodded in agreement. "Well, then, let's head out."
"I was thinking more another country," Nic muttered.
“Can we stop talking and get a move on?” Fox asked, trying not to sound too whiny. He bounced on the balls of his feet, eager to leave already.

"What about our birth names? Passports? We need those, not to mention money to actually move to another country, Nic," Ellie sighed.
"If we can live here without those things, we can live anywhere else without them," Nic said, holding up his hands with a smile.
Jax shrugged. "Not if we do it illegally. If we tried moving to another country legally, we would definitely be caught."
school
"Yeah, well what if we get caught doing it illegally?" she questioned.
“I’d rather be in jail than back at the School,” Fox chimed in quietly. Just saying that name sent awful flashbacks through his mind, clouding his emotions again with the agony. He hoped none of the others noticed his involuntary shudder.
"Then we don't get caught," Callie said, not wanting to think about it. They'd be sent back and then someone from the school would drag them back there. She suppressed a shudder.
(Guys I'm going to be doing homework, I'm super behind and have Ds and I need to be caught up. Please don't move this along too fast while I"m gone which will likely be the rest of the night. Sorry for any inconvenience T-T)
school
"Well how do you suggest that?" Ellie didn't want to get her hopes up, but she didn't want to be pessimistic either.
"Flyin' over the border?" he said with a shrug. "We could make it over to Mexico, I'd think."
"What if we made it up to Canada and lived by the sea? That would be a much more relaxing lifestyle " Reese offered
Fox nodded in agreement. “Canada would be nice,” he added thoughtfully, imagining it. “So are we gonna leave soon or what?”
school
"But how would we get there?" she asked.
"Fly across the border," Winston chimed in. "If we fly high enough, no one would notice us, and we can get in for free."
"But what happens after that?" Jax asked. "We can't buy a house. Where are we supposed to live?"
(*we can't buy a house)
