The Flock: A Maximum Ride Roleplay (Closed, 7/7)

The Eraser went flying, letting out a whimper as he hit the ground. “You win this round, you piece of scum,” he growled, picking himself up and running off.

Winston didn't even bother responding, turning to Reese to see if he needed any help.

The Eraser was out cold within the first few punches. He lay on the ground, motionless.

Reese got off him, breathing heavily. "I finished the bish. He's unconscious." He said in between breaths

"C'mon, then," Winston, said, shaking his hand and wincing. "Let's get outta hear before the police come."

"Should we stash him somewhere first or leave him be? Our scent might still be on him, should we 'wash' him?" He asked, wiggling his fingers

He shook his head, rubbing his ear and scowling. "No. We need to get back and get the others on the move."

"Let's run." Reese said, already jogging back to the kids. Once he reached them. He quickly started stashing the extra food in his bag and checked his pockets to make sure all the change was securely placed in there. "We have to go, now. Get up and get moving." He said to the kids

Winston followed soon after, the back of his sweatshirt damp with blood and the left side of his face already bruising.
"They'll be more Erasers coming," he said, sounding exhausted. "We need to get a head start on them."

Fox’s eyes widened almost comically when he saw Reese and Winston. “Are you two okay?” he asked, getting visibly upset. He wasn’t good with blood, and seeing it on his friends was even worse.

Reese put the bag in and tied the straps to his waist. He grabbed a large water bottle and payed for it before filling it up and coming back to them. "Let's go guys." He said urgently

Worry clouded Jax's eyes. "Are you guys alright?" She asked shakily as she examined their wounds and started helping stash everything away.

"We are ok but we wont be if you guys dont start moving!" He said, slight panic could be seen in his eyes

"We'll be fine," Winston assured, putting on an optimistic look despite how he was really feeling. "Don' you worry 'bout it. Reese 'n I ain't lost a fight our whole lives.

(F R I C C I missed it, logged off to make dinner and then forgot about this and exercised and watched anime, where are we at?)

(Erasers were in the McDonald's, so Winston sent everyone back to the shelter and he and Reese fought them)

Reese put on a brave face for the others and took a deep breath to calm himself. "You have nothing to worry about, but if the cops get us, we will get thrown back into cells with the Erasers."

Fox nodded, trying to be brave too. He stood up, glancing at the others. “Okay, let’s go then.”

Callie, who had been silent and worried, nodded. "Yeah," she said, not wanting to say anything and really just wanting to get out of there as soon as possible.

(Now let's wait for Izzy, so we don't leave her behind)

(Just thought of this, but Winston's just a less edgy Fang)

Winston frowned, looking down at his feet.
"Um….can we have this conversation in private?" he asked quietly, gesturing over to an empty corner away from the flock.

Reese nodded and walked towards the corner, looking at the other two expectantly

"Resse," Winston said, shaking his head, "I meant me and Ellie. You go help the kids pack up."

Reese groaned and walked back, grumbling the whole way. "It wasnt my fault!" He called back. He smiled and looked at the others. "First one to pack up their stuff gets flying privileges." He smiled. Being on the run meant that they had to hide their wings too so flying was a fairly uncommon thing.
