The People Who Stole a VERY Rare Dragon and Got Away with It (Closed//Stalkers Enabled)

Gij turned a faint red. "Sorry. I… I like eggs." He repeated needlessly.

"It's fine Gij. I'm just teasing."

Gij nodded. "Right…" He sat down and almost missed the chair, but recovered quickly.

The water reached boiling point. Sia felled a bowl with ice and cold water. She drained the pot and placed the eggs in the bowl. "Just a couple of minutes now."

"Okay. Thanks again… It probably is getting really annoying but… I… appreciate it."

"It's not annoying Gij." She smiled.

Gij smiled at her. "I… I think it is… but I suppose I find everything about myself annoying, huh?"

"Yeah. You spend 24/7 with yourself so your used to you." She fished the eggs out of the bowl and placed them on a plate, handing it to Gij.

Gij looked at her. "They have to spend some time in the refrigerator, or they'd be all runny! Mum always said that." He grinned a little and handed them back to her.

"I thought the ice would do the trick." She placed them in the fridge. "I don't make hard boiled eggs very often."

"That's alright. I'm kinda old school. I'm not sure if ice works, but mum always left them in the fridge for an hour or so."

"Ah. Want anything to hold you over while we wait?"

"Hm…" He pulled a thinking face. "Ice cream?" He grinned at her.

"Sure! I've got Vanilla and Mint Chip!" She opened the small freezer.

"Oooh! I'll take the mint chip. I love myself some mint chocolate chip!"

"Same!" She took out the carton and grabbed a couple of bowls and spoons. She scooped the Ice cream out and handed one bowl to Gij before digging into hers.

Gij licked his lips in anticipation and dug in happily into the cold dairy treat.

"Sobex, you hungry at all?"

Sobex growled sleepily and slipped back into a deep stupor.

"Okay then." She finished off her ice cream.

Gij chuckled. "I suppose Sobex isn't a good 'wake up from naps' dragon."

(I GTG DAMMIT)
"Mhmm." Sia giggled.

(NNOOOOOOOOOO)

Gij smiled at her then trained his gaze back down at his runny ice cream. Stop acting so desperate… God, I'm so annoying… His grin faded.

"What's wrong Gij?"

(Okay)

"Hm? Nothing." She saw my grin fade.

"Gij, you were smiling, and then it dropped like a 10 ft. putt."

"I was just concentrating on something. It doesn't matter."

"Okay." She stood up and walked over to the sink and started rinsing her bowl out.

Gij fished out the little chips of chocolate mint and ate them, not feeling remotely hungry anymore.

Sia set the dish down. "So what do you want to do while we wait for the eggs?"
