Gij glanced down at Sia as she shifted. "Do… do you really love me?"

Gij nodded. "Yeah, I do." He reached out and took her hand.

Sia smiled softly. His hand was warm.

Gij sighed and laid his head back down. He really just wanted to hold her close, but would that be a stretch?
