Sia's head pounded with a headache. What if the siren's saw us? Why the hell did I pull Grace and her kids into this? WHAT WAS I THINKING?

Gij set the dragon pup down carefully so that he was hidden by the door. "This is the dragon, Sobex."
Sobex yapped.

Iris giggled while Ellen reached out to touch Sobex. Sia took deep breaths, trying to not have a panic attack.

Sobex yapped gently, thumped his tail and leaned forward eagerly to lick the child's fingers.

Ellen giggled. Grace cleared her throat. "So… how did you find a dragon, and why did you need me to come pick me up?" Sia said nothing, still focusing on not freaking out.

Gij swallowed and glanced nervously at Sia before saying, "She took me in after I stole Sobex."

Grace raised her eyebrows. "You stole a dragon?" Sia nodded. "They were abusing him Gracie." She murmured quietly. Grace nodded.

Gij held the dragon close, who cooed quietly.

"So what happened that you needed me to come pick you up?" Grace asked.
