The People Who Stole a VERY Rare Dragon and Got Away with It (Closed//Stalkers Enabled)

Sia nodded. "Okay. I've got some board games if you're interested after wallowing." She stood up, grabbing a small water can that was hanging over the sink. "Right now, I'm going to water my plants."

Gij made an undefinable noise and Sobex yapped gently.
"No, you're not sorry!"

Sia filled the watering can and started watering the assorted potted plants on multiple surfaces.

Sobex cooed quietly and put his head under the hood.
"Go away Sobex."
Sobex yapped again.
"You stink, that's why."

Sia walked back into the kitchen. "I've got some trimming to do on the trellis plant. I'll just be outside for a few minutes. I'll be able to get an idea of what the word is outside. The Sirens might be searching for you."

"Ughhh be careful, okay? When you come back inside you can help me wash Sobex. He reeks." Gij raised his head and glared at the little dragon. "I can practically see the stink lines coming off of you, Sobex."
Sobex yapped and purred gently.

"Alright. He should be able in fit in the kitchen sink." She left her apartment, walked down stairs, and left the building, turning down the nearby alley. She started pruning the trellis plant.

Nothing was too different, but occasionally she thought she saw a wickedly pretty face pass, but when she turned to look… it was gone.

Sia squinted suspiciously, but continued pruning. Her mind turned to the matter of Gij's liking her. She wasn't sure exactly how she felt about it, but it wasn't a bad feeling. She finished, glancing about before reentering the building.

Gij was fighting a small dragon in her sink.
"Come on, it's not that bad."
Sobex screeched and flailed around, his little nubs for legs hitting Gij's chest.

"Sobex! Keep it down!" Sia rushed over and tried to get a hold on the dragon.

Sobex thrust away from the pair then successfully landed into the kitchen sink, flailing and screeching quietly.

Sia walked over. "Calm down, honey. It's not that bad." She murmured. "A little water won't kill you." She glanced at Gij. "You think this would work better in the shower?"

"We already got him into the sink." Gij pointed out as he turned on the faucet.

"True." She stroked Sobex's head and got a cloth, squirting some soap onto it. "Do dragons have allergies to lavender soap?" She asked, getting the cloth wet and foamy.

"No, I don't think they're allergic to anything. Unless you count peanuts." He grinned and took the washcloth.

Sia smiled.

Gij started carefully washing Sobex, who eventually calmed down and allowed Gij to wash his tummy. Eventually, he was finished and looked around for a towel.
"Do you have any towels? Like a soft, fluffy one? His scales might get cracked if we're not careful."

(I'm back!)
"Yeah, I've got a bath towel that will work." Artemisia went to a closet and pulled out a towel. "Will this work?"

(Oooh I was ready to get off)
"Yeah, that'll work." Gij tucked his hands under the now shivering Sobex, ready to lift him up into the towel.

Sia wrapped the towel around Sobex. "See Soby, it wasn't that bad."

Sobex gave a shaky yap and Gij carried him over to the couch and started carefully and rhythmically drying him off.

Sia sat down next to Gij. She glanced down and realized she was still in her pajamas. "I'm going to go change into some day clothes." She stated, getting up.

"Don'tcha have to go to work soon?" Gij called after her. "No formal wear for you or anything? Weird…" He shook his head and directed his attention back down at Sobex.

"It's not even noon yet. I've got some time. Sides, my work clothes double as day clothes really. I work at a local restaurant. They aren't very strict."

"Okay," Gij answered absent-mindedly as he rubbed the water out from under Sobex's scales. Sobex purred and put his butt up in the air.
"Stop it, you weird thing." Gij laughed nevertheless.

Sia walked back out into the living room wearing a simple black t-shirt and jeans. She giggled when she spotted Sobex.

Gij rolled him over and started with the scales on his tummy. He started purring and waving his little nubs around.

She sat down next to Gij. "He's such a cutie."
