Sia gave him an affectionate pat on the head before facing Gij. "So, I'm free until the afternoon. I've got work then. What do you want to do for now?"

Gij looked at her. "You're gonna… trust me… alone in your home? Is that smart? I mean, I don't want to say I'm untrustable but… You've only just met me!"
Sia shrugged. "I dunno, you trusted me to not turn you in, and I'm not hiding anything really, so I think I can trust you. Sides, the worst you could do is shed on the furniture."
Gij glanced down at his overlong fingernails and timidly ran his thin tongue along his pointed teeth. "I'll um… try not to. Thanks." He smiled at her. Sobex yapped and waved his little feet around, still on his back; his stripes turned a bubble-gum pink, and Gij turned a bright red.
"What'd he say?" Sia chuckled, noting Gij's red face.
"N-nothing. He didn't say anything." Sobex hopped up which showed his pink stripes. He flexed his wings out as if to show them off, like a little jerk.
"Doesn't seem like nothing." She chuckled again and started clearing the dishes.
Gij put his face in his hands. "Oh god… Sobex!"
Sobex yapped.
"I will not be thanking you in the future!"
Sia cackled at Gij's reaction. "Okay, seriously, what's he saying?"
Sobex yapped again and Gij slammed his hands down on the table.
"S-shut up!!" He was a dark crimson now, all the way down to his neck, to the points of his ears.
"Calm down Gij! It's okay, it's fine. You don't have to tell if you don't want to, but something tells me it isn't nothing." She set the plates in the sink.
Sobex stood up and waved his tail loftily around in the air as Gij turned redder behind his hands.
"Sobex, be nice to Gij. I don't what you're saying, but he is turning an alarming shade of red." She started cleaning the dishes.
Gij grabbed his hoodie and threw it over his face.
"Kill me… pleaaaassse…." He whined to the dragon.
"My goodness. What did he say that is causing you to be so flustered?!"
Gij sounded like he was sobbing. "N-nothing… it's nothing…"
Sia turned off the sink and sat down, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. There's not need to get worked up." She murmured softly.
"Sobex… knows something… that you don't… and… that's okay. He wants me to tell you… but I think it's a little too early for that. AND I KNOW IT'S DRAGON TRADITION TO GET A MOVE ON, BUT SHE'S NOT A DRAGON, SOBEX!" His screaming voice was muffled somewhat by his hoodie.
Sia cocked her head. "hey, no need to scream. If you don't want to tell me right now or at all, you don't have to."
"Oh god… okay, I like you a lot, and because of the dragon in me, I know this. And… Sobex is rubbing it in!"
Sia took a moment to process the information. "Like me? What do you mean?"
Sobex made a… weird purring noise and moved around on the table. His stripes turned a romantic shade of red.
Gij did not answer.
(Dammit, I gtg for the night)
Sia blushed. "Oh. That kind of like?"
(Okay, have a good night.)
"Uh… y-yeah… I'm sorry, oh god, Sobex…"
Sobex purr-laughed and sat up.
Sia chuckled softly. "Don't be sorry Gij. I like you too. I want to get to know you as friend first before considering anything more." She smiled, "But I'm open to the idea."
He nodded. "I-I get it…"
Sobex yapped and crawled over to him.
(ARE U ON MY DUDE???)
(Yess)
(Huzzah!)
Artemisia finished washing the dishes, setting them on a rack to dry. "So," She said, taking a seat, "What should we do now?"
"I'm gonna wallow. I don't care what you do."
Sobex yapped.
